Previously, I wrote about TheALGOFaucet.com, which is a cryptocurrency faucet that try to support ALGO users. By giving away some ALGO coins, this can help not just people who are interested in ALGO coins as investment but also supports any ASA project developers.
It turns out there is a similar one called ALGODrops.org. In this one, not only we can find ASA projects but we can also get their rewards with those projects instead of just ALGO.
So, who is this ALGODrops.org? Is ALGODrops.org legit or scam? How can we earn from them and how do we get paid?
Those are probably just a few questions that came to mind after hearing about the program. Well, in this article, I’m going to share with you my ALGODrops.org review based on my experience on using their platform and what I can find from the internet.
Hope this helps. Is ALGODrops.org going to be the best cryptocurrency faucet out there?

About ALGODrops.org
The website itself doesn’t have a dedicated page about who the owner or people behind this faucet. However, they do share some contact info at the bottom of the page.
We can send email to contact@algodrops.org. Alternatively, we can also contact the owner via Reddit from their subreddit r/algodrops or directly with the admin account, u/Opposite-Shoulder260.
As we can see, they advertise themselves as THE MEETING POINT FOR ALGORAND ASA. On that community, the owner usually posts news, update, issue and other stories related to the development of ALGODrops.org.
The owner also shares their ALGO wallet which will show the available funds for the faucet. We can find it from this explorer page. At this moment, the last update was in September 2022.
On that specific update, the owner mentioned how this faucet is their side job. At some point they made a profit for doing this but currently have some small losses every month. The owner also mentioned how this project helped them get another software development job.
On the website, we can also find links for DOCUMMENTATION. This is for ASA project developers who are interested in working with ALGODrops.org. Those documents will tell us what data we need to provide to ALGODrops.org to use their tools. There is also BLOG feature so developers can write an article to help users get to know their projects more.
ALGO Faucet
Cryptocurrency faucet is the main feature on ALGODrops.org. From a cryptocurrency faucet, anybody can earn money, usually in cryptocurrency, for doing almost nothing.
The least we should do to earn the money is just a click of a button. Most of this kind of programs nowadays will require more. We need to click and view some ads, visit and going through some webpages, and solve some captcha systems.
The amount of money we can earn from a cryptocurrency faucet usually is not that much, considering how easy and little the effort is. However, some of them allow us to repeat the process and let us claim over and over again after waiting for a period of time.
Overtime, with multiple claims and from multiple different cryptocurrency faucet programs, those pennies can eventually become very big. Combined with the chance of increasing value of the cryptocurrency, people can earn a lot from this type of programs.
In the case of ALGODrops.org, we can earn a small amount of Algorand (ALGO) from their faucet. Instead of getting just ALGO coin, here, we can also choose to get paid with one of ASA (Algorand Standard Assets) project.
ASA are different cryptocurrencies that use ALGO coin as the basic ecosystem. The available options are either Yieldy (YLDY – 226701642) or Smile Coin (SMILE – 300208676).
They may or may not add more different ASA project as another options. From what I understand, we can only get paid with one per claim. We need to wait for the interval time before we can choose and claim a different reward from the faucet.
How does it work?
Before we can claim free ALGO from ALGODrops.org, we first need to get a ALGO wallet address. The faucet will send the free coins directly to this wallet.
If we just want to get paid with ALGO not the ASA, any ALGO wallet can do. For those who don’t have any ALGO wallet, we can use the one from KuCoin.com, a cryptocurrency exchanger. But this doesn’t support ASA payment.
Use this link to create account with KuCoin.com.
For those who wants to get paid with ASA, we need to use ALGO wallet that supports getting paid with ASA. We also need to register the ASA project number first to the ALGO wallet before we can accept any payment of that ASA project.
As I said before, before we can get paid with any of these ASA, we first need to access the ALGO wallet and subscribe to these ASA project. There should be an option where we can enter the ASA ID number.
Another thing about choosing the ASA project instead of just ALGO, we also need to have a small amount of ALGO stay in that wallet. On top of that, we also need to pay fee for every payment of these ASA project to our wallet.
For both YIELDLY and SMILE, we need to have 0.201 ALGO in our wallet and pay 0.001 ALGO for each payment. With ALGODrops.org faucet, we can reach that amount by first claiming just the ALGO reward.
The claiming process from ALGODrops.org faucet for either reward is the same. First, we need to access ALGODrops.org and on that page, scroll down a bit and click on the menu that says FAUCET. This will bring us to a page similar to the previous picture.
As we can see there, there is a daily limit of 500 claims. Then it says we can claim the reward like once every 2 days. In the middle of the page, we can see the options of which coin we want to get paid with. For the 2 ASA options, the number on the end is the ID we need to register to our ALGO wallet before we can get paid for that ASA.
We can click on any of them so the circle next to it will be filled with a blue color and white dot. After that, we need to enter the public address of our ALGO wallet.
The next step is to solve the captcha from Google until we can see the green checkmark. As the final step, we can click on the SUBMIT button to proceed.
After we click that button, the page should reload and at the top it will say ALGO IS ON ITS WAY notification with the blue background. Within minutes, we should be able to see some ALGO in our ALGO wallet.
This next image below is the deposit history from my ALGO wallet on Kucoin.com. Apparently, for all faucet claims, we will get the same amount of ALGO which is 0.001 ALGO.
That is it with the process to claim the reward from ALGODrops.org faucet.
We can repeat the process after 2 days since the last claim. If we try to claim again before that interval time, the page will actually tell us how much longer we need to wait as shown by the third picture below.
Donation to support the Faucet
This site is financially supported mostly by the donation of ALGO from the users themselves. If anybody is interested in supporting the owner, they can donate by sending their ALGO to the owner’s ALGO wallet.
There is a menu that says DONATION on the homepage or at the bottom of the faucet page after the faucet feature itself. This will bring us to the next page which should be similar with the next picture below.
The address is shown at the bottom of that white box. We can also generate a QR code by clicking on that blue button in the middle.
I think they will accept any amount but the ALGO wallet may require minimum amount. For example, with wallet from Kucoin.com, the minimum is 0.2 ALGO and the fee is 0.1 ALGO. If we use wallet from MyALGO.com, the minimum is 0.000001 ALGO and the fee is 0.001 ALGO.
Earning Rate and Comparisons
As I said before, the reward is always the same, which is 0.001 ALGO per claim or per 2 days. I don’t know how much we will get with the ASA.
At the time of this writing, 1 ALGO is about 0.273 USD. That means, we are getting 0.000273 USD per claim or per 2 days and the daily rate is 0.0001365 USD per day.
The question is, is that a good earning rate? One way to find out is by making a simple comparison to other similar programs. In this case, other cryptocurrency faucet program.
Here are what I have tried so far. The value of each cryptocurrency is based on the value at the 3rd week of November 2022. Bitcoin is below 17,000USD per coin and very volatile.
Freebitco.in, usually as my standard for good earning faucet, can give us like about 12 satoshi ($0.002) at this time per claim every hour as the base reward which is what we will get most of the time. There is a chance to get higher rewards per claim from this. That one claim is almost 10 times higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
Cointiply.com, now the faucet can only give us 2 claims per day. For me right now about 20 coins a day and with 100 coins equals to $0.01 means $0.002 per day, or about 12 satoshi of BTC. That daily reward is almost 10 times higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org for 2 days.
ClaimFreeCoins.io, a 5-minute faucet can offer like 0.001 DOGE ($0.00008) per claim. Four claims from this and we already get higher daily reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
Free-Litecoin.com and their group, each as hourly faucet can give altcoins about 1,274 litoshi ($0.00075) at this time as the base prize. That one claim is more than twice as much as one claim from ALGODrops.org.
DailyFreeBits.com, also can give constant amount but only 0.5 satoshi (0.00008 USD) every hour at this moment. Four claims from this and we already get higher reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
BestChange.com, has a faucet feature, give at least 1 satoshi (0.00016 USD) in BTC per hour. Two claims from this and we already get higher daily reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
FireFaucet.win, an auto faucet, at this time, with maximum bonus, can give like 3.0 satoshi per hour ($0.0005). That hourly rate is already higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
FreeDGB.com, an hour faucet, can give us like 0.029 DGB or about $0.0002 per claim. Two claims from this in a day and we already get higher reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
FreeBitcoin.io, an hourly faucet, can offer like 4 satoshi ($0.00066) per hour or up to 96 per day. That one claim is already more than twice as much as one claim from ALGODrops.org.
FaucetHub.top offers like 0.0027 DOGE ($0.00023) per claim per 10 minutes or about 0.001 USD per hour. Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
Yannik.biz, another lump sum faucet, offers like 2 satoshi of BTC (0.00032 USD) after 10 minutes waiting, without the bonus. That one claim is already higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
AltHub.club, a 30-minute faucet, can give us like 5 ALTH per claim or about 1.63 satoshi of BTC per claim ($0.00027). Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than one faucet claim from ALGODrops.org.
GetZEN.cash, a 20-hour faucet can give like less than $0.0004 per claim as the base reward. That one claim is slightly higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
FaucetCrypto.com, a 30-minute faucet, offers like 17.5 coin per claim or about 4.2 satoshi at this time ($0.0007). That reward from one claim is more than twice as much as 1 claim from ALGODrops.org.
DogeMate.com, an hour faucet and we can claim like 20 coins (about $0.0002) per claim as the minimum. Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
StakeCube.net, a 24-hour faucet offers multiple coins. If we claim all of them, we can get probably lower than $0.0015 or currently about 9 satoshi from various different cryptocurrencies. That daily rate is more than 10 times higher than the daily rate of ALGODrops.org.
PipeFlare.io, a daily faucet, where we can earn about 0.00001793 ZEC ($0.0007) per day. That daily reward is more than twice as much as one claim from ALGODrops.org.
TimeForBitco.in, a 5-minute lump sum faucet can give us like 1.92 satoshi ($0.00032) per claim. That one claim is slightly higher than 1 claim from ALGODrops.org.
CRINF.net, as a 5-minute faucet can give us 2 satoshi of BTC ($0.00032) per claim. That one claim is slightly higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
SimpleBits.io, a 30-minute faucet can give us like at least 1 token per claim ($0.0001). Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than the daily reward from ALGODrops.org.
CoinPayU.com, offers 4 claims of 60-minute faucets that can give us about 0.0008 USD per one faucet claim. That one faucet claim is about 3x higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
CryptoWin.io, a 15-minute faucet can offer between 2 to 6 satoshi of BTC per claim (currently, about 0.00033 to 0.00099 USD). That one claim is already higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
U24.co is currently a 30-minute faucet from which we can earn about 0.8 satoshi of Bitcoin at least per claim which is about 0.000135 USD. That one lowest reward is about the same as the daily rate from ALGODrops.org.
Snails.racing with 60-minute multiple faucets can give like 0.000005 USD per hour from each faucet. This actually can give almost the same reward as ALGODrops.org but we need to claim each hour for 2 days.
LarvelFaucet.com with 30 minutes interval time, can give like 0.0002 USD per claim at least. Two claims from this and we already get higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
CoinDiversity.io, with 1 minute interval time but only up to 5 claims per day can give like 0.0007 USD per claim. That one claim is 2.5x higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
BigBTC.win, a 5-minute faucet can give like 1 satoshi per claim or currently about less than 0.0002 USD. One claim from this is still higher than the daily rate from ALGODrops.org.
SoftAirBay.com can offer like 2CP per 5 minutes which is worth 0.0004 USD from their faucet. That one faucet claim is already about 1.5x higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
BTCBunch.com has multiple faucets with multiple timer and reward can give up to 0.00025 USD per claim after 5 minutes or so. For a day we can claim like 288 times and get like 0.072 USD in a day. That one faucet claim is almost the same as one claim from ALGODrops.org.
LiteGPT.com, a PTC with faucet feature can give 0.001 USD per claim every 60 minutes. One claim from this is almost 10 times higher than the daily rate from ALGODrops.org faucet.
YesCoiner.com, another Bitcoin faucet can give us at least 24 satoshi per day or about 0.004 USD. That is almost 30 times from ALGODrops.org in daily average.
TheALGOFaucet, where we only need to claim once a week, can give like 0.0005 ALGO per day or about 0.000136 USD per day. I think the daily rate from this is about the same as ALGODrops.org but we only need to claim once every 7 days.
SatoshiHero.com, a 30-minute faucet where on average, we can get 6 satoshi per claim. At this moment, that is equal to 0.001 USD per 30 minutes. One claim from this is almost 10 times higher than the daily rate from ALGODrops.org faucet.
DigiTask.ru, no timer faucet with 50 claims per day can give 0.0018 DOGE per claim or about 0.00015 USD. Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
ClaimClicks.com, a 3-minute faucet can give at least 2 satoshi per claim. With the current Bitcoin rate, that is higher than one claim from ALGODrops.org.
These are just comparing strictly between the faucet earning rate. There are more things to consider like the claiming process or how easy to withdraw.
Some programs can offer other earning feature or bonus that could make them a better choice. On the other hand, some users might not be able to use those other earning feature and can only rely on faucet.
Comment and Suggestion
From the comparisons above, the earning rate from this is probably one of the lowest. Other faucets can definitely give higher reward. The closest similarities would be with TheALGOFaucet.com.
Obviously, their purpose is the same, trying to help ALGO users covering the transaction fees. It is not meant to be an earning site but who knows? If the value of ALGO can go up, maybe these small amounts can eventually become something.
Unlike TheALGOFaucet.com, the reward from ALGODrops.org is consistent, at least so far. Of course, the owner can decide to change it to make it financially sustainable, just like any other faucet.
The claiming process itself requires a bit more compared to TheALGOFaucet.com. In this one we need to solve the captcha from Google. There might be a time when the captcha is at peak load and it will be more difficult to solve.
There is also a daily limit to this, which is 500 claims a day. That means, the owner has to distribute up to 0.05 ALGO each day which in current rate is about 0.01 USD. Maybe it is not much, but the owner still has to pay for hosting, domain and other operational cost.
Their main income is probably the donation. This one also put some pop up ads if we surf around their pages, not necessarily part of the faucet claiming process.
From their Reddit post, I assumed that the owner may get something if any legit ASA project is working with them. At some point, the owner said that they lost some money for running it and yet chose to keep offering this free ALGO.
Claiming every 2 days is a bit weird for me. I prefer just do it everyday. As it is, if I skip then there is a chance that I forget for a couple of days. The good thing is that they will tell us the remaining waiting time but we still need to claim it. So, I can just do the claiming everyday.
Well, there is not much I can talk about this faucet compared to other online earning programs with multiple features. This is different but we still can use it to earn if we want. I don’t know how long the owner can keep doing this but I hope they can and will be around for a long time.
Rewards
Another feature on ALGODrops.org is called REWARDS. If we click on that menu from the homepage, we will see several more ASA project.
As we can see from the next image below, currently there are 4 ASA we can choose to get the reward with: KTNC, FISH, TACO and COMMIE. If we click on one of them, this will send us to a page similar to the faucet feature as shown by the second picture below.
Here, we can enter the public address, solve the captcha and click the SUBMIT button to proceed. I actually haven’t tried this because I need to have a small amount of ALGO in my wallet to get the reward.
The third picture below shows the requirement if we want to subscribe and get rewards from these ASA project. That is if we use wallet from MyALGO.com. I don’t know if other ALGO wallet works the same or just similar.
So, it is like another faucet. These 4 ASA projects set different interval time before we can repeat the process to claim the reward. Two of them can only be claimed once every 2 days and 1 of them can be done daily. The fourth one doesn’t say at this moment. Each faucet also has a limit within those interval time, between 150 to 500 users.
These projects have their own developer and community. The page actually says that the airdrop or faucet itself is handled by the community. We can find the link to those community if we have any issue either Reddit page or dedicated homepage for the project.
Again, I don’t know how any of these work for sure since I don’t have that minimum ALGO to receive the reward.
For ASA developer, I guess we need to contact the owner directly if we want our projects to be included on that page. There is a link at the bottom of the page that says DOCUMENTATION.
This will send us to the owner’s Google Drive where we can find a couple of documents of how we can submit the project. From what I understand, the cost is 5 ALGO and we need like provide 5% of the ASA project as the reward which should be available for any users for around 3 weeks or so.
Conclusion
ALGODrops.org is another cryptocurrency faucet where we can specifically earn ALGO coin. It is meant to help ALGO users to cover their transaction fees.
The claiming process is rather easy. We just need to enter our public ALGO address and solve one captcha. The faucet can be claimed once every 2 days and each time, the reward is the same amount.
Alternatively, instead of just ALGO we can also receive the reward from two ASA projects either YLDY or SMILE. For these we need to use ALGO wallet that supports receiving rewards from ASA and subscribe to those two.
There will be extra fee that we need to pay in ALGO and we also need to save some minimum ALGO amount in our wallet before we can receive the reward. So, for starters, just earn ALGO and later we can switch to any of these 2 projects.
The payment will be sent almost instantly after each claim. If we repeat the process before the interval time, we can find out the remaining waiting time before we can claim again.
Aside from that there is also REWARD, which is more faucet from these ASA. I don’t know why they put them separately. There are currently fours but these are from 3rd party programs. That means, the platform can add more or remove them in the future if the projects are not interested in working with the faucet anymore.
Each of these 4 will have different limit each day, interval time and probably the reward. I don’t know for sure how they work because they also require having some minimum amount of ALGO and pay subscription fee to receive the reward.
Any ASA developer can contact the faucet owner to put the project on that page. From what I understand they need to pay some amount of ALGO and provide the rewards.
Other than those two, there are no additional features here like affiliate programs or so or other earning feature. The faucet itself is supported financially by the donation of their users using ALGO.
So, if you consider it as an opportunity to earn more ALGO, you can start by visiting ALGODrops.org via this link. Just need an ALGO wallet address that supports ASA payment if we want to get the most of it.
Earn More Coins from Similar Programs
There are a lot of other programs, not just faucet like this where we can earn more cryptocurrencies like BTC, DOGE, BNB and many more. Some of them will pay via the same micro wallet but others can just send the payment directly to our wallet.
Here are some that I have tried so far. Links are to a review article for each program. I recommend checking the article to find out the latest update.
Last update: November 2023

Final Words
As mentioned before that we cannot earn that much from ALGODrops.org or any of the cryptocurrency faucet. Usually, the key is to use the referral program, get a lot of referrals and let them do the work and we get the commission passively.
This one doesn’t have that. We can try and promote other referral programs as well. As many as we want.
In order to do that, it’s better to have our own website, promote the program until we can get enough referrals and they can generate income for us.ย This is not only limited to digital product but we can also promote physical product.
Share a link from a marketplace like Amazon, or directly from big brands like Apple, and if people buy something, we can earn some commission. It’s not limited to just tech product but any passion we have from food, travel, sports, movies.
That is how we can have an online business.
If you are interested to learn more about building a website and turn it into a business, even a passive income, there is a training program that you can try.
On this training, not only we can learn about how to, but we can actually set up the website, grow it until it can generate income. We can learn from a lot of experts who were once just like you and me, know almost nothing about online business.
This is an easy training program that even a guy without a college degree can use it. Within two years he started to have a full time income from his website and quit his regular job.
We can even ask the owner the help out directly. Try it. Join the program for FREE and try to reply their first message to you and see if they get back and help you out.
You can learn more about the training from my review here.
We grow the business and website by using affiliate programs. Here is my list of other affiliate programs that you can try.
I will keep updating the page and add more programs. So, stay tuned.
Well, that’s all I can share with you about ALGODrops.org, a cryptocurrency faucet program. Maybe I missed something and you have more question about it, or if you want to add your experience, view, opinion, don’t hesitate to use the comment section below.
Maybe you also have other experience with other similar programs with this, hopefully a better one, you can suggest something as well. I would love to help if I could and learn more about online program.
Hope my reviews can help. Thanks for reading.
