We barely have a website and we want to start monetizing, passively if possible. One of the solution would be to use a display ad network like Google AdSense.
The problem is, not every website can get approved and use AdSense immediately. There are some requirements before we can apply.
For another option, you might want to try A-Ads.com. It’s one of the ad network without any minimum traffic requirement that offers to pay with Bitcoin via FaucetHub.
So, who is A-Ads.com? Is A-Ads.com legit or scam? What is the CPM on A-Ads.com? How many ad units per page are allowed?
Those are probably just a few questions that came to mind after hearing about A-Ads.com. Well, in this article, I’m going to share with you my A-Ads.com review based on my experience and what I can find from the internet.

January 2021. At the end of 2020, Bitcoin price suddenly got very high, surpassing the all time high at this point. This will then affect any program offering any payment with Bitcoin, including A-Ads.com.
The value of money that I got might be the same but in different amount of Bitcoin. A-Ads.com and many others have to come up with different internal currency that can support lower amount of money than 1 satoshi.
Right now all I got was like less than 5 satoshi per day from the previous like 100 or so. If they cannot find any solution, without a lot of traffic, I will probably not going to get payment at all.
Additional note: I think we need to logout and then login again once in a while. They will still keep our account but we need to reset the password.

Anonymous Ads or A-Ads.com is an ad network which started since 2011. It is probably one of the longest advertising platform that offers to pay with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
The initial idea was for people to advertise without opening their privacy which also using the crypto nature of Bitcoin. Any users didn’t need to create any account, but instead they could just create campaign, or ad unit to display the campaign.
Anybody can actually access the data about each campaign and publisher ad unit. Transparent but at the same time keep it anonymous.
Now, to make it easier to manage both campaigns and ad unit, A-Ads.com requires any user to create account. Registering an email address is optional but could be very helpful for security purposes like losing password.
Since what they offer are mostly related to Bitcoin, their user’s background are still not diverse enough. A-Ads.com handled the payment daily.
They offer to use micro wallet as payment method. At this time they have switched to FaucetHub from their previous FaucetSystem.
After several years, A-Ads.com is not without any problem. Bugs, downtime, or problem with payment has happened. Usually, no fee for advertising would be one of the compensation that A-Ads.com can offer, Even so, they are keep updating and improving their system and program.
Their support is known to be very good. Their representative was actively responding users on one of the forum, with the username “arsenische” on BitcoinTalk.org. Now we can contact them via email or their support channel.
For alternative, we can access their Facebook or Twitter account. There are also some help or FAQ page and blogs we can read about their system.
The website is in both English and Russian. Try not to use any adblock program to check both the campaign or ad unit.
A-ads.com can detect any campaign with malware and they will automatically ban them without any refund. One case said that the suspect was a returning customers or advertisers so they refunded him.
How to earn – Become Publisher
To earn from A-Ads.com, we need to become their ad publisher. People advertise something via A-Ads.com and we display those ads to get paid.
In order to do that, we need to have a website. On our website, we use some space to place the ad unit which will display the advertisement.
We place the HTML code provided by A-Ads.com on that space and every registered advertisements will be displayed on that space. If we don’t have any website yet, we can use the free one from Google, the Blogger or BlogSpot.
After the ad unit is placed, then there is nothing else we can do, the network will automatically assign the advertisement. Just wait and the ad unit will start generating unique impressions from the traffic which can be converted into money.
What we need to do then is to generate more traffic to the website and we will have higher chance for income.
How to create Ad Unit
After we sign in to A-Ads.com, we can click on EARN menu at the top of the website. The next picture is what we are going to see.
There is an options for three different type of ad unit, SITE, APP and AFFILIATE. I really don’t know what is the intend but from what I know, the latter two are completely useless, maybe for now.
The guy from A-Ads.com on forum stated that the APP type is only if we want to create ad unit for mobile app, not a website. But the description said that it is hard to earn or even track the impressions from there.
As for the AFFILIATE type, the SITE type can also be used to display those affiliate advertisements. So, here I’m just going to discuss the first type only.
First, we will have to choose the ad unit size. There are about 20 supported banner sizes including the adaptive one.
If we are not sure, we can use the adaptive one which will open to display any kind of advertisements, increasing the chance for income. On the other hand, this could be bad depending on how it will be displayed on the website.
As long as we have the right space to show the ad which we can make sure it will not distract other content from our website, I guess we will be fine.
If we want to choose a fixed size, try to check the overall website statistic to find which ad size that advertisers would likely to use. At this time, that would be 728×90, 300×250, or the vertical one we can try 120×600.
Secondly, we need to register the website URL where we will place the ad unit. One ad unit can be used on any pages from the same domain name but the page we register need to have one so the A-Ads.com bots can detect them.
Thirdly, we need to choose what kind of ads we are allowing to display on our ad unit. Click on each box and the check mark will appear to disallow certain categories.
Allowing categories like gambling, shady program, risky investments and NSFW type of content will open of higher income potential. We can still edit any part of these later.
To finish registering an ad unit, we can solve the captcha from Google and click on the green CREATE AD UNIT button.
Ad Unit Settings
After we create the ad unit, we will be sent to the ad unit settings page from our member dashboard. The next picture is what we are going to see.
There are several sub menus there, from INFO, FINANCE, REWARDS, STATS, CAMPAIGN, EVENTS and EDIT. The picture above is the INFO tab.
At the right side of the screen we can find the HTML code we can copy and paste to the website we register. We can still customize how the ads will appear but it will only work for text based ads, not the banner.
If we are not sure, we can just use the standard code. Remember that at least this one code has to appear on the URL we register.
The FINANCE tab will have two more drop down menus. One is the withdrawal history and the other is withdrawal options. The earning we get from displaying the ads will be first sent to the ad unit, which then we can transfer to the main account or automatically send to the wallet or micro wallet.
If we send to the main balance, we can use the earning to advertise. If we have more than one ad unit, each ad unit will have its own setting to withdraw the funds. So, we can set maybe one to advertise again and the other to get paid each day.
The REWARDS tab is for the earning from affiliate campaign. They are just the report and nothing we can do.
The STATS tab is for the statistic for the month. We can see the earning, number of impressions and clicks for each day. At the bottom we will see two pie charts about the visitors based on language and countries.
The CAMPAIGN tab will display the list of active campaigns which our ad unit will display. As publisher, we can’t add anything but we can ban or unban some campaign. But it will affect the potential income we can get.
The EVENTS tab will display the activity history that we have done for the ad unit. EDIT tab is for editing the data we have registered when creating the ad unit.
All of the data is transparent. Any advertisers can check each ad unit from the catalog. The next picture is what we can see from the catalog by inputting the ad unit ID.
A-Ads.com Unique Impressions, The Earning Rate
First of all, since this has been confusing a lot of people including me, A-Ads.com is not a pay per click or pay per impression ad network. Which means, more clicks and impressions for the ad doesn’t necessarily increase the income for the publisher.
They only pay based on number of unique visitors for the day to the A-Ads.com network, not the website or publisher, or the ad itself. A-Ads.com still use the term unique impressions, which could be misleading because most people will consider how AdSense work.
In general, like on Google AdSense, the term unique impressions are based on the publishers point of view but that is not how it works on A-Ads.com.
If a visitor has already seen an A-Ads.com ad on anywhere online in the past 24 hours, that visitor will no longer generate another unique impression. Only if that visitor see our ad unit the first thing after 24 hours will be counted as unique visitors for us. Visitor here means based on IP address.
This is why a lot of publisher will say on their first time using A-Ads.com that they get a lot more unique impressions based on Google Analytics. But, A-Ads.com report will show way lower number than that.
With that in mind, there is no point to display a lot of ad units from A-Ads.com on the same webpage. A-Ads.com will only count the visitor as unique impression for the first loaded ad and on the second and more ad units will be counted as just impressions.
We just need one and place that ad unit where anybody will see publicly.
Of course there are some cases where we will need more. For example, if we use WordPress like this website, if we place the ad unit within the article or where it will be loaded on just certain pages, not everybody that come to this website will see it.
It will be better if we place the ad unit on the widget where any article will load that ad unit. We have to make sure that the ad unit will be displayed the first thing any visitor see from our website.
A lot of publisher might think that this is not a fair mechanism especially if we compete with larger website sharing the same target audiences. For example, if we consider this website which I often write about bitcoin faucet programs, I will be competing with those faucet programs that use A-Ads.com as well.
People will visit those websites several times a day but to this website maybe like once a week. So, I will definitely have lower chance to get unique impression but it doesn’t mean completely impossible.
The count is based on the 24 hour mark since the last visit not from one central reset time. So the time the visitor can generate unique impression will change and move. One day could be in the morning, and the next day could be in other time and this will give a chance for other website to get the impression.
More impression doesn’t mean more income but more unique impressions still does.
How to Generate more Unique Impressions
Another way to increase the chance for more income, is by diversifying the content of the website or publisher. This means we can attract other people from different target audience.
The problem is that A-Ads.com has a very limited type of users, at least the advertisers. In the long term, if A-Ads.com can’t widen their scope of advertisers, the revenue will decrease.
So far, the highest advertisers come from Bitcoin category since that is how A-Ads.com promote themselves. An ad network that accept bitcoin as payment. Hopefully, A-Ads.com can attract more advertisers from different categories.
As publisher for different category, we will get very low chance for income or advertisers.
Secondly, as for the earning rate, there is no fixed rate even if they are based on unique impressions. The rates are determined by the market condition, supply and demand.
More advertisers means more income but more publishers, will decrease the income as well.
Some people even say that A-Ads.com favours the advertisers more which the publisher will get very low. The advertisers can even select which publishers to spend their budget on. On the other hand, publisher can only limit or filter the campaigns that has been assigned for the ad unit.
At first, any advertiser can spend their money on our website or ad unit but if they think the conversion rate is very low or consider the traffics are fake, then they will stop advertising. Maybe just from our website and we will lose income.
This is why A-Ads.com can’t guarantee any income rate for the publisher.
A-Ads.com only display the CPC and CPM just for estimation. And that is more for the advertisers instead of the publisher.
Another possible way to earn more income as publisher would be to open the ad unit for all of the categories, including gambling and NSFW related ads. Gambling category is considered one of the highest paying advertisers but as publisher this could hurt the credibility of the website.
Banning those ads is possible from the publisher end but it will decrease the income.
If somehow there is no advertisers or very low number, A-Ads.com has another plan for the publisher. The ad unit will then display affiliate program, not just from A-Ads.com but from other user as well.
What we can see from the picture below, as the preview of the vertical ad unit is the example of affiliate advertisements.
With this, publisher can earn via different mechanism similar to Cost per Action (CPA). We will only get paid if the visitor access the program or website advertised, then buy or use the service from the advertisers.
The problem is for some people, how A-Ads.com display these CPA ads are too simple, very unprofessional. We can still customize a little bit to follow our website theme or color scheme though instead using the standard code.
There are about 11 affiliate campaign at the moment including the one from A-Ads.com. Six of them come from the same program.
Ad Units, Per page limit, Size, Category
If we want to use A-Ads.com for multiple websites with different domains, we have to create separate ad unit. Otherwise, we won’t generate unique impression from the domain we do not register the ad unit with.
We can just use one ad unit for the entire pages from the same domain.
Someone said that it is better to choose the correct size of ad unit rather than set them as adaptive. It will create a better user experience if we can plan ahead the outcome instead of making it changes from one to another display. We can create other unit for different size banner even if we use it for the same website.
If we use vertical banners, the ad unit can display several affiliate campaign at a time but this doesn’t happen on horizontal one. Sure, it is going to pay us more by displaying more ads but it will still increase the chance.
Any ad unit will start with UNKNOWN category, the moderator will set it within 24 hours automatically to 3 different categories. If we think those categories are not right, we can ask them to substitute.
Look at the catalog to find out the existing categories that match with our website. This would be important as the wrong categories can mean losing income opportunity.
Not sure but I think we can’t have more than three categories. I asked them to add but they just replaced them.
For new publisher, it may take time at first before the network recognize the traffic. If the publisher has very low traffic, they will need longer time than those with the higher traffic like even a couple of days.
They don’t recommend to use more than three ad units per webpage though as it will start displaying error. Initially we can use as many as we want since they will only count unique visitors once a day.
But this has led to server load which A-Ads.com then have to set some limit.
Problem and Support
So far, some problems could happen, like a bug in the system which would display incorrect number of data like earning or impression. Do not hesitate to contact A-Ads.com via their support channel.
We can also get help from Bitcointalk.org forum if somehow the website is down. Just make sure we know the ad unit ID to inform them.
If we suddenly lose traffic or the earning rate is dropping drastically, we can ask them if there is something wrong. Of course, one of the possible reason would be the decreasing number of advertisers. But, at least we can know for sure and they will be happy to inform the case.
If we are using multiple ad units for the same domain, the earning number can be calculated and accumulated on either unit. Initially, each unit will have its own balance and even withdrawing threshold.
Ever since they introduce the joined account for those units, the earning will be sent to the account main balance. The problem is now, if somehow, any publisher wants to try advertising as well, the earning we get from publishing can be spent automatically on advertising.
Just make sure we set the daily budget of the campaign to “0”. Otherwise the advertising will keep taking up the funds until it reach the budget.
The display rate is determined by A-Ads.com bots. The bots will keep checking the website to see if the ad unit is there and the display rate will eventually reach 100%. Unless if we keep take it off and on the website.
A-Ads.com offers three ways to withdraw the earning from each ad unit. One is to transfer the funds to the main account which we can use to advertise.
The second way is to transfer the funds directly to Bitcoin wallet. At this time, the minimum is 0.001 BTC. We can set higher than that and it will be automatically processed once the funds has reached the threshold.
The third way is to transfer the funds to the micro wallet. At this time, A-Ads.com use FaucetHub service. There is no minimum for this option.
I don’t know about the other options but I use payment to FaucetHub option. So far, A-Ads.com processed the payment every day at 12.00 (GMT+7).
Remember that each ad unit can have different withdrawal options. The default setting is for the first option to transfer the funds to the main account.
From the main account, we will need to set a withdrawal option for itself, either directly to the wallet or to FaucetHub. Any change to the withdrawal options will suspend the payment for the next three days.
So, if we change the payment method from the ad unit, we will not get paid for the next three days from that ad unit. But, we can still get paid from the main account, if we have other earning options.
Why Publisher should Use A-Ads.com?
The reason any publisher should use A-Ads.com service is because there is no minimum traffic requirement. This would be good for new website.
People who use BlogSpot can get approved easier with AdSense but some people might need other income sources and A-Ads.com can still become one of them, complementing the AdSense or other network.
There is no minimum traffic requirement but it doesn’t mean we don’t need that. No traffic means no money at all, and more traffic gives better chance to earn more.
Another reason for publisher would be, in general, A-Ads.com won’t ban any publisher for using too many ad units per page as they only count one unique impressions per IP. While network like AdSense, it is very easy to get banned and there is no coming back.
At this time, I’m still using A-Ads.com as publisher on this website just to give it a try. Not sure how long I’m going to keep using this service.
I used two ad units, and placed both of them on the side widgets. I set the first one as adaptive and the second one for the vertical banners, 160 x 600. The campaign IDs are 1231600 and 1231614.
In theory, the first one that I put it at the top will get more unique impressions while the second one will just get impressions. The result shows exactly like that but the second one still get something from time to time.
I’m not sure how it works. But, I think, since I have some sections in every articles, which can be accessed directly from the search engine, it is possible that the visitor will arrive right next to the second campaign.
So, the second campaign will be loaded first and get unique impressions. Even though the first ad unit can get way higher number of unique impressions, but the income is not that different. Which means with the same number of unique impressions the second one can generate more revenue.
From what I can tell, the first ad unit, which use the adaptive type, is less likely to display any image based banner, only text. While the second one will almost everytime display banner with image.
It could be a coincidence though. Maybe I should exchange their placements, see if I can generate more income. The next pictures are the data for the first ad unit.
Other Earning Options
A-Ads.com offers another way to earn from them. For those who can spot and report a bug to A-Ads.com system will get a reward.
Based on the past experience, A-Ads.com has been giving between $30 to even $500 worth of Bitcoin. Not sure if that is all of them or from the Hall of Fame.
A-Ads.com won’t be paying for any bug that has been discovered in the past. Also, there are some guidelines or minimum requirement before the report can be eligible for reward. Below is the list of guidelines.
Security report guidelines:
- Please provide the information on how the vulnerability you’ve discovered might be used both theoretically and practically, what its impact is, and all the pertinent details.
- Please provide the exact steps on how the vulnerability can be exploited and how we can reproduce the issue ourselves. We’d love to see the demonstration of the attack which will not affect our existing users. You may create as many test user accounts as you need.
- Please submit the bug report via our support channels (email or web site widget) but only after you’ve verified that it indeed works.
- Use whatever language you prefer if you don’t feel comfortable writing in English.

Advertise, Create Campaign
As an Ad Network, A-Ads.com also offers user to advertise using the same platform. Unlike Google which will separate between the advertisers using AdWords and publisher using AdSense.
So, here, a publisher can also become an advertiser. We advertise any program online via the network from A-Ads.com. As mentioned on the previous section, the marketing will be done not only on this website but on the publisher websites.
So, the target audience can be bigger, not limited to just the user from A-Ads.com but the audience of the publisher. Unlike a paid to click program which the ad will only be displayed on their website and viewed by the same users.
How to Create Ad
After we sign in, we can click on CREATE AD menu at the top. On the next page, we can choose the traffic source we want. From all traffic or based on existing categories.
For traffic setting, there are two ways to choose, either based on Daily Budget or the CPM bid. The CPM based setting is still in beta.
Choose the language of the ad and set the Daily Budget we are willing to spend. We can see the estimation of how many impressions, click and CPM we can get based on the daily budget we set.
Don’t forget to checklist the type of ads if our ads can be considered as Gambilng, Risky Investments, Shady or NSFW. Click on the blue CLICK HERE button and the options will show up.
The next part is to create the ad. We just need to fill the title, some descriptions and the URL. What we can see next to that form is the example of standard text based ad that will be displayed on the publisher ad unit.
That is if there is no banner or the ad unit doesn’t fit the size of the banner we upload. Every campaign will have similar design, only the publisher can still modify them like the font or background color.
Upload the image for banner either in JPG, GIF or PNG format. Use the correct size of banners to ensure the banner can be displayed.
Move the cursor to the question mark beside BANNER and it will show the recommended sizes. We can also click on the PREVIEW to see the example of every size.
After we finish, we can click on START CAMPAIGN button. Not sure about the coupon though, maybe we can get occasional discount.
Every campaign will have its own ID. After we create it , we can check them from the member dashboard and click on CAMPAIGN menu.
We can still edit the ad, title, text, URL, or language or even the daily budget later.
From the member dashboard, there are several menus we can use to edit or find the statistic about each campaign we have. The next picture is what we are going to see.
As we can see, there are several sub menus we can access. DETAIL is about the overall data for the campaign. FINANCE menu is for resetting the budget, choosing withdrawal options from the campaign budget and deposit history. Withdrawing the budget can either to the main account, directly to the wallet or via FaucetHub as micro wallet.
The detail page will have the option for making a deposit with deposit address for each cryptocurrencies accepted. At this time A-Ads.com accepts deposit from about than 20 cryptocurrencies. There will be additional fee for making deposit other than using Bitcoin.
From the TRAFFIC SOURCE menu we can change the ad category or criteria. There is an option whether to use anonymous traffic or not and set some quality range.
We can also include or exclude any specific ad unit or publisher from one of the drop down menu. The last one from traffic source setting is an option to filter the target location based on the country. We can choose to allow and disallow as many countries as we like.
The next menu is the AFFILIATE PROGRAM if we want to use the CPA model campaign. See the next subsection.
From the STATS menu we can see the statistic of how the budget was spent, the number of impression and click that the campaign received for the entire month.
Event menu is just the activity history of what we do with the campaign. Like when we created, or activate the ad.
Every campaign can be accessed publicly. Only the owner of the account can modify the setting.
Advertising Rate, Budget, CPM
Just like how A-Ads.com can’t guarantee the rate for publisher, the same goes for advertisers. The rate is based on the market supply and demand. The difference is that advertisers has more control on how they spend the money while publisher mostly can only wait and limit some campaigns.
Each advertiser can set up a budget for each of their campaign. Then, the budget will be distributed to the available ad units of their choosing according to the number of unique impressions each ad unit can deliver.
Advertisers can choose from general, all traffic sources or they can select specific ad unit from a website. The broader the channel advertisers choose, the more competition from other advertisers as well, which could help lowering the rate.
At the same time, they will get more ad units or traffic channels, which also will help lowering the rate. With this mechanism, we need to keep in mind that the rate could suddenly go up and down.
Just as an example, within the month of August 2019, the CPM were between $0.2 to $0.8. That is from the overall statistic.
This means, if the budget remains the same, but the rate goes up then we will only get lower number unique impressions with the same money we spend and vice versa. Usually the number of ad units or publisher will stay more or less the same but the other advertisers might choose more or less channel.
Other advertisers could also cut some advertising budget or just stop their campaign completely. This usually will not be a big deal if we target all traffic.
The problem will be more obvious if there are very limited number of advertisers competing for the same ad unit. Especially if one of them set up a very high budget and just suddenly stop.
Just like the publisher ad unit, each campaign will have its own budget, deposit and withdrawal options. Each settings will also be separated from the main account.
A-Ads.com suggests depositing to the main account in a large amount due to the nature of cryptocurrencies. By setting the daily budget, each campaign will take the funds directly from the main account.
Try to deposit using Bitcoin as there will be additional fees for using other cryptocurrencies. Based on the term and condition page, we have to pay 3% coversion fees and 0.5% payment fees to CoinPayments.net.
As to withdraw, we have three options just like the publisher or from the ad unit. Either to the main account, directly to Bitcoin wallet or to the FaucetHub.
I suggest using the setting to the main account. It will be harder to transfer again back from the wallet. I’m not sure about making deposit from FaucetHub.
As for the fee of advertising, A-Ads.com will take 20% from the daily budget. The publishers will get the remaining 80%.
Comparisons to Other Similar Programs
Maybe it would be fair to compare with similar programs, or to other ad display network. Unfortunately, this is actually my first time using an ad network like A-Ads.com as both publisher and advertisers.
I have tried MellowAds but only to claim the free Bitcoin which can only be used for advertising not to withdraw. Maybe I will update when I have the chance.
Another platforms that offer to advertise for user are mostly paid to click service. As mentioned before, paid to click service only display the advertising on their website, which the viewer would be very limited to their users.
Most of paid to click service also require to buy in bulk number of views. Minimum a 1,000 views would be the general number but of course there are exceptions.
It is actually not bad because with that minimum, we can actually see some result instead of just having one or two impressions. On the other hand, this would be too expensive for some people to start advertising.
But are they really more expensive than the other? One way to find out would be to compare the advertising rate between each program.
Here is the list of rate from various programs that I have tried.
A-Ads.com, if we use the number from August 2019, the rate is about $0.2 as the minimum for 1,000 impressions. That is like 20 satoshi per view.
FireFaucet.win, an auto faucet program which recently brought back their PTC offer. The rate is about 13 satoshi per view and we need to buy at least 100 credits.
EthereumClix.com, a PTC that offers to pay with Ethereum and advertise starting with just 1-4 views. That rate is just about 0.5 satoshi per view which makes this one probably the lowest. It’s just kind of hard to recommend this one.
AdBTC.top, a PTC, we can start advertising as low as 5 Bitcoin satoshi per view. We can start as with just 1 view.
AllCoins.pw, a faucet, offers PTC as secondary earning feature with 100 views as the minimum. The rate is about 20 satoshi per view.
Donkeymails.com, one of the oldest PTC program, offers like $1.5 per 1,000 views as the lowest rate. Or in BTC it is about 15 satoshi per view.
Cointiply.com, another faucet program with PTC feature, offers like $1.3 per 1,000 views as the lowest rate. Or in BTC it is about 13 satoshi per view.
BTCClicks.com, another PTC program that accepts only Bitcoin, offers like 16 satoshi per click. We need to purchase minimum 1,000 satoshi.
Based on the all of the numbers above, we can say that advertising on A-Ads.com might not be so cheap. The number could even increase with high demand. But the comparison is mostly just the rate or CPM. On PTC or faucet program, the target audience is limited but they might offer a better way to view the ads.
On the other hand the A-Ads.com can reach wider audience with more websites but advertisers have to check where exactly their ads will be displayed. Advertisers have a lot of control with A-Ads.com. So, unless they are willing to learn how to use and optimize the features, they might as well stick with other advertising platform.
As an advertiser, we need to keep an eye like most of the time or we could suddenly run out of funds. If the market really fluctuate, then one way to check is by looking at the CPM.
It is recommended to look at the CPM while setting a budget. Then if the rate changes, we know whether to set the budget higher or lower which can deliver the same number of impressions.
There is a feature to set the maximum CPM which can help holding advertisers from over spending their funds. There has been some report that the estimation can display a wrong number like because of bugs.
If we think the number with setting maximum CPM is weird, we need to contact support. Maybe A-Ads.com will give some reward for discovering that bug.
Not sure if this could be considered as trend, but it is reasonable that the CPM will be high at the start of every month. It will go lower at the end.
Again that is from the overall statistic. If we target specific ad units, the trend could be different. So, it is recommended to run some observations. Another factor to consider would be the holiday season.
Advertisers also need to check where their source of traffic came from. Based on the explanation from the A-Ads.com representatives, A-Ads.com will focus on checking the ads from advertisers.
The idea would be for advertisers as the one to rate the publishers. Try not to advertise harmful program with virus or malware.
It is not impossible that there is a publisher without content at all and still could generate some impressions. Maybe not that many impressions though.
The type of publisher content could still be decent, not shady, gambling or NSFW but the topic of the content could be irrelevant. Advertisers have the options to ban and unban some traffic sources.
Be careful about setting to display only banners. That will limit the number of compatible ad units which will increase the CPM.
I think advertisers should consider not just unique impressions but more about the conversion rate. How many from those unique impressions can deliver click or even sign up or purchase. Unless of course, what we are advertising is just to get some exposure like announcement for an event.
Some suggest starting with very low amount of budget to all traffic. Increase the amount of budget, see if we can get better result. Then we should shift the budget targeting specific ad unit that converts well.
Checking the network stats could help. There are some data about the visitors like language they use and location. If what we are promoting will have very specific target audience and the network doesn’t have it, then maybe we should consider advertising on other network.
Cost per Action (CPA) Advertising
If we are not sure if our advertising budget converts well or not, maybe a lot of unique impressions but they didn’t make any revenue. Another way is to advertise with CPA model.
With this model, we won’t be paying per unique impressions we get for our ads, but only if the visitor join or make a purchase. Or any action that we consider as making profit for advertisers.
The concept is known as Cost per Action (CPA). With this system, we will get paid first from the visitor, then we can use our earning to pay the publisher.
So, it’s not actually free, we still need to make some deposit for the campaign. But at least, we won’t be spending the budget randomly.
This is like creating an affiliate program which the A-Ads.com will not only provide the advertising, but also a payment mechanism to the publisher or promotor. The publisher will show the affiliate ad, and if any visitor click on the ad, access our program or website and join or make a purchase, we can pay some commission for the publisher.
I’m not entirely sure since I haven’t tried this feature yet. Please contact A-Ads.com for further explanation.
From what I can tell, here is what we need to do to use this affiliate feature.
First, we create an ad or campaign like regular advertisers but we set the daily budget into zero. This way, the budget will not be spent for unique impressions.
Secondly, we enable the Goal Tracking system for the campaign. By enabling this feature, A-Ads.com will not only track the number of unique impressions but also their source of traffic. So, we will know exactly which publisher to pay.
Third, we have to implement A-Ads.com API system to our website. This is to create some kind of payment form for us to pay the publisher once we get any visitor who pay us.
If we fill this payment form, it will instruct A-Ads.com to deduct some fund from our campaign balance and automatically send to reward the publisher. Yes, we should make a deposit to the campaign.
In order to have this implemented, we have to notify A-Ads.com by sending email to email@example.com. It is up to A-Ads.com to decide whether we are trustworthy enough to pay.
This is not a bad idea but the way they display these free ads is not very good. The ads will only be considered as secondary ad. As described on publisher section, these affiliate ads will be displayed only when the ad unit is under monetized.
To put it simply, only if there is no other advertisers. From the list of active affiliate campaign, the number of advertisers who use this feature is very low at this moment.
Not really sure whether this feature is not interesting enough or very limited advertisers know about this.
As I said before, this could help any advertisers not to overspend their advertising budget. From the existing campaign, we can see that the reward can be as little as 1 satoshi. Compared to the advertising rate on August 2019, this number is very low.
If we can, we should keep trying other ways to advertise. Not just on A-Ads.com.
Referral / Affiliate Program
Although we can already get passive income by being publisher, we can still earn more from A-Ads.com by using their affiliate or referral program. For those who don’t have any website to publish ad, they can still earn using this feature.
Usually by offering affiliate or referral commission, any program has the potential to become a passive income. In theory, it could become unlimited income.
What we need to do is invite other people to join the program, Anonymous Ads, and if they use A-Ads.com service, we will get paid. The service here means if those people spend their money for advertising on A-Ads.com.
How does it work? (For Publisher)
If we become a publisher, A-Ads.com will display their own campaign via our ad unit as affiliate campaign. Which means, only when there are no other advertisers.
As described from the CPA based advertising, every campaign will have a tracking system to know which ad unit deliver the referral. As a publisher, the ad unit ID will be attached to the link with tracking system.
If anybody click on A-Ads.com campaign from one of our ad unit and spend some money for advertising, A-Ads.com will take 20% from those people daily budget as a fee. From that fee, we, as the publisher will get 50% or about 10% of the daily budget as the commission.
If those people keep advertising using the same account they create via our ad unit, we will keep getting commission passively. The payment will be sent to the ad unit balance.
For Non Publisher
If somehow, we don’t have any website to become a publisher, we can still share the referral link or affiliate link and get commission. But we still need to sign up and create and ad unit, even though we won’t use it.
This one below is mine for A-Ads.com via my ad unit. The number 1231600 is the ad unit ID and the number 1 after the “/” is the campaign ID, which is A-Ads.com campaign.
Update: Apparently I made a terrible mistake. The second link above is the one.
If anybody click on that link, they join the program, A-Ads.com, and spend money for advertising, I will get the commission. The link can be found via this page, or anybody can just use copy my link and replace the ad unit ID with theirs.
What we need to do is to share the link to anybody on any online platforms we use. The platform can be our social media accounts, forums, group messengers for family and friends, or the blog and website that we own.
From the same page A-Ads.com also provides some promotional banners. There are five horizontal banners with different sizes and just one square banners. All of them are GIF image and use the same design.
Unfortunately the banners don’t have the HTML code, ready to be used. We can only find the source of images. To check or track the result, we can access the REWARD tab from the ad unit dashboard.
From that statistic, reward from CAMPAIGN #1 means from A-Ads.com, while the others are affiliate campaign from other advertisers. Each affiliate campaign will have the same mechanism to promote. The only difference is how each campaign will reward the promoter.
How to get (more) referrals?
Well, sharing the link is a must but how exactly? Sharing to the wrong people is like a salesman approaching stranger. People hate that.
If we try to share on our social media, people might get annoyed if they are not interested. Especially if we are spamming, sharing over and over again like multiple times within a day.
We could lose our followers, risking any network we have built. Maybe it’s better to have alternate account specifically just to share this kind of program.
We look for community or other users that we know are interested. Or only when they ask, then we can share with them the link.
A better way might be to share on forums. Not just any forum of course, but related to online money making program, bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
The problem with using any free platform like this is that we are probably not the only one who promote the same program. We have to offer something more than just the referral link like anybody else.
Another thing is that these free platforms have rules that they can suddenly change about promotion and not to mention, shutting down their service entirely. We have to start over our campaign if they delete them.
A better way would be to have our own website. We can share anything not just one program but others with the same, similar or related topics.
Having a website is like having a shop in real life. People can always come back to and find out more programs to use.
Then we can use those free platforms, forum or social media accounts just for promotion. A good way to get backlink or generate traffic.
Since it’s an online shop, it will stay open 24/7, no need to wait for us to wake up and can be accessed from everywhere around the world. The best part of having our own place or website is that any search engine like Google will do the promotion work non stop.
And they will show the website as a result to exactly people who are interested in it. They use the search engine to look for it and get the website we build as the result. No need to worry about being annoying salesman.
Those people will access the website, see what we have to offer. Maybe a review like this, other or similar program we use, sharing experience, opinion, views to let people know that we understand this kind of program.
If they are interested, they will become our referrals for any program we promote. Once we have enough referrals for A-Ads.com or every programs we promote, we can have passive income even full time income.
That is exactly how people can build their business online. They own a website, fill the website with contents that can help promote a program, and let it work automatically.

To be honest, I think it will be harder for publishers to actually take advantage of this affiliate commission if they are relying on ad unit exposure. As mentioned before, affiliate campaigns are considered as secondary campaigns.
We will more likely to get paid for the unique impressions we deliver which is also another passive income. On the other hand, some people think that become publisher of A-Ads.com can’t make a lot of money.
I tend to agree, especially if we don’t update the content of our website frequently. We also need to promote the website content to keep generating traffic.
Without any traffic, we won’t get any income as publisher, let alone getting affiliate commission. One way to promote more A-Ads.com campaign as publisher would be to use our website space for advertising, solely for A-Ads.com.
We can use their banner and place it on our website instead of the ad unit. That way, we don’t let A-Ads.com system determine whether to display other campaign or theirs.
Of course, we can also put them together side by side. Just don’t forget to put the referral or affiliate link for the banner.
Sure, we will get lower income as publisher but if the advertisers we promote keep advertising, we might even get higher. So, we really need to do a little experiment, to find out from which one we can get higher income.
Both of these income sources, as publisher or affiliate promoter, will generate fluctuate income. Publisher earnings rely on the market which has two components, the advertisers and other publishers.
On the other hand, the commission from our referrals are based only on their daily budget. So, as publisher we will get a long term income source but will get lower and lower with more publishers. As referrer, we will get higher income but only as long as they keep advertising.
If we really can’t rely on our website traffic, then we have to actively share the link. We look for those who has some business or program to promote, and help them advertise. A-Ads.com even suggest an idea to help, maybe our neighbor, to advertise.
That will work if we don’t have any website. If we have one, we might as well deal with the advertisers ourselves, no need to rely A-Ads.com at all. Maybe you have noticed on some websites that says “YOUR ADS HERE FOR $$$ A MONTH” or something like that.
A-Ads.com or Anonymous Ads is one of the display ad network, like Google’s AdSense, where anybody can advertise but also become publishers.
If we have a website or blog, where we can put HTML code, we can use some of our website space to place an A-Ads.com ad unit. The ad unit will then display campaigns from other advertisers.
There is no minimum traffic requirement to start so anybody can sign up and earn right away. But eventually, those traffic will determine the income potential we can get.
Unlike most display ad network which will pay publisher based on the number of impressions delivered to the ads, A-Ads.com will only pay based on the unique visitors globally to the whole A-Ads.com network per day.
It means, if a visitor has already seen any A-Ads.com from any website that day, that visitor will not generate any revenue for any publisher again. It doesn’t matter which publisher or website, and not based on the ads itself.
A-Ads.com is not pay per click or pay per impressions. Which is why compared to most display ad network, some people think that publisher will get lower chance to get paid. We can’t rely on stats from Google Analytics for this.
Publisher will have to compete with other publisher by becoming the first website for visitors to visit. If the competitors have the same target audience and the audience tend to visit there first, we won’t likely to get paid.
The count itself is based on the individual IP, not from one central reset time. A-Ads.com will count the visitor as unique IP again after 24 hours, so the start of the day for that visitors will likely to move the next day. This at least creates a chance so that bigger websites will not always get the first visit.
One of the solution would be to diversify the website content’s topic get a wider target audience. The problem is A-Ads.com, at this time, has a very limited users, at least advertisers for different categories.
Even after they have been offering their service for several years, the highest paying advertisers are still limited to Bitcoins topic. If this keeps going on, no matter how diverse the publisher’s content, it’s like delivering traffic to the wrong people.
The earning rate itself will depend on the market. No advertisers means no money and more publishers means less.
To get paid higher, we even need to open for displaying ads with sensitive contents. This could be like gambling, NSFW, shady or risky investments as they tend to be the highest paying advertisers.
Some people think that advertisers will have more control here. They can set a budget, choose the converting traffic sources, target the audience based on language and country.
The advertising rates are also fluctuates depending on the market. Which can be very low, but not exactly lower than similar programs but it can also be very high.
Since A-Ads.com will determine the rates daily, advertisers will need to keep watching and resetting their budget daily as well. Or they could and up suddenly losing funds without any conversion.
They will need to learn, test, experiment, and observe. Conversion rate should be their target and consider other network if this doesn’t work for them, especially for those offering other than Bitcoin categories.
A-Ads.com started their service in crypto or anonymous way. Each ad unit and campaign will has its own budget, deposit and withdrawing options. We now have a user account to integrate those settings.
With A-Ads.com, any user can also create and advertise an affiliate feature for their program which they can pay for traffic after it converts, like Cost Per Action model. Publisher will advertise these campaigns via their ad unit as secondary campaign.
It means, only when there are not enough paying regular advertisers. Another solution for under monetized traffic but the chance to earn from this feature has proved to be very low.
A-Ads.com is not a bad network but maybe not for everyone and maybe not very well developed yet. Users will have to learn to really take advantage for their features.
A-Ads.com says that they are merely observing the market. So far, their support are great.

Using ad network like A-Ads.com service can be a great way to have extra income passively if we have a website. But the income can be relatively small, depending on the traffic and the content.
Another way to add the income would be to rely on affiliate or referral commission, promote the program until we can get enough referrals and they can generate income for us.
Maybe not from A-Ads.com or other ad network, but could be any online program or even physical product. On the website we share a link from a marketplace like Amazon, or directly from big brands like Apple, and if people buy something, we can earn some commission. It’s not limited to just tech product but any passion we have from food, travel, sports, movies.
That is how we can have an online business.
