In order to get more adoption to any cryptocurrency, usually the developers must share a small amount of that coins for free. If more people have those coins, they can then start spending them to buy a product or pay a service. Hopefully, if they are satisfied with what they can do with the coins, they may purchase more.
That is how we get a cryptocurrency faucet as one of the ways to get coins for almost free. It’s like a giveaway. The thing is, everytime we want to send a coin as payment, we also need to pay a network transaction fee using that coin as well.
Unless we have more than the amount we want to send, we probably cannot complete the transaction. So, this next one, TheALGOFaucet.com, as the name suggests is offering to give Algorand coins or ALGO.
Algorand itself is one of the ecosystems cryptocurrencies with other different cryptocurrency projects in it. We can even stake the coin like an investment and gain some return.
But to get that staking reward, we need to have ALGO coins to pay the transaction fees. That is the purpose of TheALGOFaucet.com, to give extra coins to cover those fees. Hopefully, more people will start using the coins and the staking option.
So, who is this TheALGOFaucet.com? Is TheALGOFaucet.com legit or scam? How can we earn from them and how do we get paid?
Those are probably just a few questions that came to mind after hearing about the program. Well, in this article, I’m going to share with you my TheALGOFaucet.com review based on my experience on using their platform and what I can find from the internet.
Hope this helps. Is TheALGOFaucet.com going to be the best cryptocurrency faucet out there?

Type: Cryptocurrency Faucet (Weekly, ALGO)
Feature: Staking Plan
Referral Commission: none
Payment Method: ALGO Wallet
Started Since: November 2021
My Status: PAYING
Last Payment: November 2022
According to the page, they started just to share their ALGO coin so people can use the coin to cover ALGO network transaction fee. They are now also offering a staking plan and a service to help ALGO developers to create their own plan.
At this point, they are planning to build a community around Algorand Standard Assets with their upcoming feature. People can vote on which ASA project to support and invest on.
Cryptocurrency faucet is the main feature on TheALGOFaucet.com. From a cryptocurrency faucet, anybody can earn money, usually in cryptocurrency, for doing almost nothing.
The least we should do to earn the money is just a click of a button. Most of this kind of programs nowadays will require more. We need to click and view some ads, visit and going through some webpages, and solve some captcha systems.
The amount of money we can earn from a cryptocurrency faucet usually is not that much, considering how easy and little the effort is. However, some of them allow us to repeat the process and let us claim over and over again after waiting for a period of time.
Overtime, with multiple claims and from multiple different cryptocurrency faucet programs, those pennies can eventually become very big. Combined with the chance of increasing value of the cryptocurrency, people can earn a lot from this type of programs.
In the case of TheALGOFaucet.com, we can earn a small amount of Algorand (ALGO) from their faucet. According to their website, this is meant to help users pay transaction fee when sending payment with ALGO.
How does it work?
Before we can claim free ALGO from TheALGOFaucet.com, we first need to get a ALGO wallet address. The faucet will send the free coins directly to this wallet.
Any ALGO wallet can do. For those who don’t have any ALGO wallet, we can use the one from KuCoin.com, a cryptocurrency exchanger.
After the registration, we can sign in and we will arrive on the Dashboard. On that page, click on the menu that says MAIN next to Overview. This will bring us to the main balance section.
Then in the Search Bar, type in ALGO. From that ALGO option, the right most column that says OPERATION will have a link for DEPOSIT. We can click on it to find the deposit address.
The page should look similar to this next image below. On that page, we have to choose the network first. Currently there is only one option, which is ALGO or Algorand network.
Then, the page will automatically generate an address. As shown by the picture, my deposit address starts with GN followed by a series of 58 combination of numbers and letters that are unique just for me.
We need to copy that address to get payment. Use the copy button to make sure that we are copying the complete address. Now, we can start earning the free ALGO coin from TheALGOFaucet.com.
From that link, we will arrive at the homepage, which is also the faucet page, as shown by the previous picture. All we need is just to paste the deposit address in that field.
Right below that bar we can see a number 58 to remind us if we copy a complete address, the address should have 58 characters. After pasting the address, the number will go down to 0.
We can click on the SUBMIT button below that to proceed. That is it with how to claim the free ALGO coins from TheALGOFaucet.com.
All we need to do is just to wait for the system to send the coin. If we use Kucoin.com wallet, there will be a notification via email and text to the registered phone number for every deposit.
TheALGOFaucet.com will send the payment once everyday until Sunday from just one claim. So, if we want to keep earning more ALGO, we have to repeat the process using the same deposit address every Sunday.
The second picture below is the deposit history for every payment that I got from TheALGOFaucet.com on KuCoin.com. Usually, they will send the payment around the same time each day but there could be some exceptions.
The reward per payment each day will be random amount within certain range. From my experience, the lowest one was 0.000012 ALGO and the highest one was 0.000992 ALGO. With the current ALGO value with 1 ALGO is about 0.35 USD, that is about 0.0000042 USD to 0.0003472 USD.
We can keep doing that to earn more ALGO. Eventually we will have enough amount to either send the coin to different wallet or trade them to other coins. The minimum to send on Kucoin.com is 0.2 ALGO with 0.1 ALGO fee.
Kucoin.com also offers staking option to invest with ALGO. The minimum for that is 5 ALGO.
Earning Rate and Comparisons
As I said before, we can get between 0.000012 ALGO up to 0.000992 ALGO or with the current USD value, it is about 0.0000042 USD to 0.0003472 USD. That is the reward per day with just claiming once a week. The average is about 0.0005 ALGO or 0.000175 USD per day.
The question is, is that a good earning rate? One way to find out is by making a simple comparison to other similar programs. In this case, other cryptocurrency faucet program.
Here are what I have tried so far. The value of each cryptocurrency is based on the value at the 4th week of September 2022. Bitcoin is below 20,000 USD per coin and very volatile.
Freebitco.in, usually as my standard for good earning faucet, can give us like about 11 satoshi ($0.002) at this time per claim every hour as the base reward which is what we will get most of the time. There is a chance to get higher rewards per claim from this. That one claim is almost 6 times higher than the daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
Cointiply.com, now the faucet can only give us 2 claims per day. For me right now about 20 coins a day and with 100 coins equals to $0.01 means $0.002 per day, or about 10 satoshi of BTC. That daily reward is almost 6 times higher than the daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
ClaimFreeCoins.io, a 5-minute faucet can offer like 0.001 DOGE ($0.00006) per claim. Six claims from this and we already get higher daily reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com.
Free-Litecoin.com and their group, each as hourly faucet can give altcoins about 1,405 litoshi ($0.00075) at this time as the base prize. That one claim is more than twice as much as the daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
DailyFreeBits.com, also can give constant amount but only 0.5 satoshi (0.0001 USD) every hour at this moment. Four claims from this and we already get higher reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com.
BestChange.com, has a faucet feature, give at least 1 satoshi (0.00020 USD) in BTC per hour. Two claims from this and we already get higher daily reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com.
FireFaucet.win, an auto faucet, at this time, with maximum bonus, can give like 2.6 satoshi per hour ($0.0005). That hourly rate is already higher than the daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
FreeDGB.com, an hour faucet, can give us like 0.021 DGB or about $0.0002 per claim. Two claims from this in a day and we already get higher reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com.
FreeBitcoin.io, an hourly faucet, can offer like 3 satoshi ($0.00057) per hour or up to 72 per day. That one claim is already higher than the daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
FaucetHub.top offers like 0.0027 DOGE ($0.00017) per claim per 10 minutes or about 0.001 USD per hour. Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com.
Yannik.biz, another lump sum faucet, offers like 2 satoshi of BTC (0.0002 USD) after 10 minutes waiting, without the bonus. Two claims from this and we already get higher daily reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com.
AltHub.club, a 30-minute faucet, can give us like 5 ALTH per claim or about 1.4 satoshi of BTC per claim ($0.00027). Two claims from this and we already get higher reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com for a day.
GetZEN.cash, a 20-hour faucet can give like less than $0.0004 per claim as the base reward. That one claim is slightly higher than the highest daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
FaucetCrypto.com, a 30-minute faucet, offers like 17.5 coin per claim or about 3.1 satoshi at this time ($0.0007). That reward from one claim is actually twice as much as the daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
DogeMate.com, an hour faucet and we can claim like 20 coins (about $0.0002) per claim as the minimum. Two claims from this and we probably get higher reward than from TheALGOFaucet.com in a day.
StakeCube.net, a 24-hour faucet offers multiple coins. If we claim all of them, we can get probably lower than $0.0015 or currently about 8 satoshi from various different cryptocurrencies. That daily rate is more than 4 times higher than the highest daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
PipeFlare.io, a daily faucet, where we can earn about 0.00001269 ZEC ($0.0007) per day. That daily reward is about twice as much as the highest reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
TimeForBitco.in, a 5-minute lump sum faucet can give us like 1.66 satoshi ($0.00032) per claim. That one claim is almost the same as the highest reward from TheALGOFaucet.com per day.
CRINF.net, as a 5-minute faucet can give us 1 satoshi of BTC ($0.0002) per claim. Two claims from this in a day and we already get higher reward than TheALGOFaucet.com.
SimpleBits.io, a 30-minute faucet can give us like at least 1 token per claim ($0.0001). Four claims from this and we already get higher reward than the highest daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
CoinPayU.com, offers 4 claims of 60-minute faucets that can give us about 0.0008 USD per one faucet claim. That one faucet claim is more than twice as much as the highest daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
CryptoWin.io, a 15-minute faucet can offer between 2 to 4 satoshi of BTC per claim (currently, about 0.0004 to 0.0008 USD). That one claim is already higher than the highest reward from TheALGOFaucet.com per day.
U24.co is currently a 30-minute faucet from which we can earn about 0.8 satoshi of Bitcoin at least per claim which is about 0.00015 USD. Three claims from this and we already get higher reward than the highest daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
Snails.racing with 60-minute multiple faucets can give like 0.000005 USD per hour from each faucet. This is actually just slightly higher than the lowest daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com but we can claim more than once per day.
LarvelFaucet.com with 30 minutes interval time, can give like 0.0002 USD per claim at least. Two claims from this and we already get higher than the highest possible reward from TheALGOFaucet.com per day.
CoinDiversity.io, with 1 minute interval time but only up to 5 claims per day can give like 0.0007 USD per claim. That one claim is twice as much as the highest possible daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
BigBTC.win, a 5-minute faucet can give like 1 satoshi per claim or currently about less than 0.0002 USD. Two claims from this and we already get higher than the highest possible reward from TheALGOFaucet.com per day.
SoftAirBay.com can offer like 2CP per 5 minutes which is worth 0.0004 USD from their faucet. That one faucet claim is already slightly higher than the highest possible daily reward from TheALGOFaucet.com.
BTCBunch.com has multiple faucets with multiple timer and reward can give up to 0.00035 USD per claim after 5 minutes or so. For a day we can claim like 288 times and get like 0.1 USD in a day. That one faucet claim is like the highest possible reward of 1 day from TheALGOFaucet.com.
LiteGPT.com, a PTC with faucet feature can give 0.001 USD per claim every 60 minutes. Even that one faucet claim is almost 5 times higher than a day from TheALGOFaucet.com.
YesCoiner.com, another Bitcoin faucet can give us at least 24 satoshi per day or about 0.0046 USD. That is more than 20 times from TheALGOFaucet.com in daily average.
These are just comparing strictly between the faucet earning rate. There are more things to consider like the claiming process or how easy to withdraw.
Some programs can offer other earning feature or bonus that could make them a better choice. On the other hand, some users might not be able to use those other earning feature and can only rely on faucet.
Comment and Suggestion
From the comparisons above, the earning rate from this is probably one of the lowest. Other faucets can definitely give higher reward.
To be fair, this is probably not meant to be an earning site. The owner only wants to share a small amount of ALGO to help other people to pay their transaction fee. We cannot expect any bonuses or such to increase the reward.
According to the page, the reward themselves come from donation. I assume then their balance is divided into the number of claims. That is probably why the reward is different from day to day. I guess, maybe with more users, we will get even lower then.
I don’t know about the other ALGO wallet but from KuCoin.com itself, the fee is 0.1 ALGO. Even to achieve that, it will still take a long time. With the average reward, we need like 200 days just to pay 1 transaction fee. Maybe other wallet can charge lower fee.
Another thing is, while the reward has a huge range, but it is still consistent regardless of the general market value, especially during this bear market time. I still get about the same reward each day.
If then, we can expect the value of ALGO to go even higher, maybe this can give higher earning rate. My comparisons about are based on the current value.
The thing is that the claiming process is very easy compared to those earning programs. In this one, there is no ad and we don’t need to solve any captcha at all. We also only need to claim once a week and they will send 7 payments if we claim on Sunday.
On the other hand, there is no reminder or such. Occasionally, I forget to claim. We even always need to copy the wallet address while on other programs the address is saved on my browser.
As it is, there is not much I can discuss about this faucet. If we are collecting ALGO from other sources, then maybe this can help a bit. Otherwise, if this is the only faucet to get ALGO, some people might think that it is not worth it.
The reason I recommend using exchanger wallet is because I only claim them just to sell them immediately. I guess it will still take a while but I can also just exchange other coins like USDT to purchase more ALGO.
Considering how easy the claiming process is, it’s not something we should miss.
Other than the faucet, TheALGOFaucet.com is also offering staking option. I’m not an expert in this technical world of cryptocurrency so I’m not sure I understand completely how this works.
For regular people, staking is like an investment. We can make a deposit, and we will get some profit return. TheALGOFaucet.com themselves is offering their own staking plan but also helping developer to create a different staking plan. This offer is limited to just developers of Algorand blockchain.
There is a menu that says CREATE STAKING PLAN at the top of the page. From that, we need to fill the form. TheALGOFaucet.com will create the plan and post the plan on the STAKING page.
There are 2 categories of Staking plans. One is in Wallet Staking and the other is NFT Staking. The Staking Page actually has a list of other different projects not just these 2 categories.
The plan owned by TheALGOFaucet.com itself is offering to get AFD (Algorand Faucet Drop), their own coin based on this ALGO blockchain or ASA (Algorand Standard Assets). According to the page, they will distribute about 107% APY daily in AFD.
AFD itself is worth about 0.0005 USD per coin. To start this investment or staking plan, we only need to make a donation using ALGO. We can find the donation address on the DONATION page which should be similar to this 3rd picture below.
Before we send that ALGO donation, we first need to add the ASA ID to the Algo account of our wallet. Depending on the wallet, there might be a couple of requirements that we need to meet in order to get paid.
For example, if we use Ledger, the account must have at least 0.1 ALGO and a couple more ALGO to pay the transaction fee of to process those ASA payment. I guess these free ALGO from the faucet is how we can cover those extra fees, which I don’t know how much we need.
Not every ALGO wallet can support ASA, especially if they are wallet from exchangers. On TheALGOFaucet.com staking project page, each project has a link to swap or exchanger service. If we go to those services, they will tell us which ALGO wallet we can connect. It can be Pera, Exodus or My ALGO Wallet.
I have not tried it myself and I’m not an expert with this staking thing. So, I don’t know if it is a good idea or not to invest in any of these ASA projects.
TheALGOFaucet.com is one of the cryptocurrency faucet where we can get free Algorand (ALGO) coins. It is meant to help ALGO users to cover their transaction fees.
The claiming process itself is unique compared to other similar faucet programs. We only need to enter our ALGO address once on their page and they will send ALGO coins once per day until Sunday.
If we enter the address on Sunday, we can get 7 payments. Otherwise, it will be less but we can repeat the process to earn more ALGO. The reward per day itself is a random amount in certain range. On average, we can get like 0.0005 ALGO per day.
Compared to other earning sites, this rate is probably at the lower end but this is not an earning site. The rewards in ALGO itself is very consistent despite the value of ALGO in USD or fiat money can fluctuate. That means, the value of the coins we get can still go up.
There is no pop up or even captcha that we need to deal to get these free coins. Each day, the payment will happen almost at the same time.
Aside from the faucet, there is no other earning feature on the site. Not even a referral or affiliate commission. However, the owner does offer a staking plan. We can donate some ALGO to their donation address and in return, we will get some AFD or Algorand Faucet Drops, their native coins as the staking reward.
For this, we need to use ALGO wallet that supports ASA transaction and enter their ASA ID to the wallet. Besides the donated ALGO, we probably also need a certain amount of ALGO depending on the wallet we use to process those ASA payments.
Maybe those free ALGO from their faucet is more to help this ASA payments than to help paying transaction fees of ALGO itself.
For ALGO coins developer, the owner of TheALGOFaucet.com is offering to help create their own staking plan, whether it is an NFT staking or in-wallet staking. If the developers already have a staking plan, they can ask TheALGOFaucet.com to put their project on the Staking list page so more people can find.
On the list, we can find a lot of different projects but most of them are 3rd party projects. The page also says that there is a chance some of them might be a scam, so it is recommended to do our own research first before investing on any of the staking plans.
If you think this is a good opportunity to get more ALGO, you can start earning from TheALGOFaucet.com right away, using this link. I guess it is recommended to use ALGO wallet that supports ASA projects.
Earn More Coins from Similar Programs
There are a lot of other programs, not just faucet like this where we can earn more cryptocurrencies like BTC, DOGE, BNB and many more. Some of them will pay via the same micro wallet but others can just send the payment directly to our wallet.
Here are some that I have tried so far. Links are to a review article for each program. I recommend checking the article to find out the latest update.
Last update: September 2022.
For programs that will pay via FaucetPay.io. Remember that there is an exchanger feature on this micro wallet.

As mentioned before that we cannot earn that much from TheALGOFaucet.com or any of the cryptocurrency faucet. Usually, the key is to use the referral program, get a lot of referrals and let them do the work and we get the commission passively.
This one doesn’t have that. We can try and promote other referral programs as many as we want.
In order to do that, it’s better to have our own website, promote the program until we can get enough referrals and they can generate income for us. This is not only limited to digital product but we can also promote physical product.
Share a link from a marketplace like Amazon, or directly from big brands like Apple, and if people buy something, we can earn some commission. It’s not limited to just tech product but any passion we have from food, travel, sports, movies.
That is how we can have an online business.
If you are interested to learn more about building a website and turn it into a business, even a passive income, there is a training program that you can try.
On this training, not only we can learn about how to, but we can actually set up the website, grow it until it can generate income. We can learn from a lot of experts who were once just like you and me, know almost nothing about online business.
This is an easy training program that even a guy without a college degree can use it. Within two years he started to have a full time income from his website and quit his regular job.
We can even ask the owner the help out directly. Try it. Join the program for FREE and try to reply their first message to you and see if they get back and help you out.
You can learn more about the training from my review here.
We grow the business and website by using affiliate programs. Here is my list of other affiliate programs that you can try.
I will keep updating the page and add more programs. So, stay tuned.
Well, that’s all I can share with you about TheALGOFaucet.com, a cryptocurrency faucet program. Maybe I missed something and you have more question about it, or if you want to add your experience, view, opinion, don’t hesitate to use the comment section below.
Maybe you also have other experience with other similar programs with this, hopefully a better one, you can suggest something as well. I would love to help if I could and learn more about online program.
