Recently, at the time of this writing, FaucetPay.io was hacked and lose more than $600,000 worth of cryptocurrencies. Even though they said that they want to cover the loss, it will still affect the owners and users as both parties cannot deposit or withdraw their money.
Some owners may depends their life on the funds they have on FaucetPay.io. It is understandable that some owners have started to consider migrating to other micro wallet service.
This is the reason why we should always diversify, not just the investment but to have alternatives for what we regularly use. On the internet, everything can be targeted for an attack. We will not know when some services will have to shut down their operations.
I have been trying more online earning programs that use more than just one payment services beside FaucetPay.io. So, maybe I should add more programs supported by those other services.
This next one, Faucetio.com is supported by ExpressCrypto.io. They are offering about 20 different cryptocurrencies at this point.
So, who is this Faucetio.com? Is Faucetio.com legit or scam? Which cryptocurrencies can we earn from them?
Those are probably just a few questions that came to mind after hearing the name of the program. Well, in this article, I’m going to share with you my Faucetio.com review based on my experience on using it and what I can find from the internet.

About Faucetio.com
Like a lot of instant faucet programs, Faucetio.com has no profile page to tell us about the owner or people behind it. There is even no contact page, which is also typical. Some may concerns about it but this is not a program for them.
What we can find about the owner is on the micro wallet. As we can see from the next picture, the owner uses “qubecz” as the username.
The site has been active since the end of January 2021. However, the domain itself was registered way back in 2018.
I don’t know if they have been operated using this domain with older micro wallet service like FaucetHub.io or not but it is possible.
Cryptocurrency Faucet
Faucetio.com is one of the simple instant cryptocurrency faucet program. From a cryptocurrency faucet, anybody can earn money, usually in cryptocurrency for doing almost nothing.
The least we should do is just to click a button. Most of this type of programs nowadays will require more like click and view some ads, visiting links and going through pages and solve some captcha system.
The amount of money we can get from any faucet is usually not that much, considering how easy and little the effort is. However, usually these programs allow users to repeat the process, claim the reward over and over again after waiting for a period of time.
By keep using them overtime alongside with many more similar programs, those small amount of money will eventually become something big. With the hopes that the value of the cryptocurrency to get higher in the future, using this type of programs becomes an earning option for some.
In the case of Faucetio.com, this is essentially 20 different faucets offering 20 different cryptocurrencies in a single website. We can get some of the currently top 10 cryptocurrencies in market cap ranking like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, and Litecoin.
This is based on the payment method that they are currently using, ExpressCrypto.io. Maybe Faucetio.com may add more faucets for all of the supported coins in the future.
The claiming process is rather simple. However, for those who are not familiar with cryptocurrency, wallet, micro wallet, the process can be a bit confusing at first.
Here are a little step by step guide of how to earn from Faucetio.com.
STEP 1 – Open a Cryptocurrency Wallet
In order to accept any cryptocurrency as a payment, we first need to have the right digital wallet specifically just for that cryptocurrency. From the wallet, we will get a wallet address, like a payment ID that we can use to accept the payment from other people.
Any wallet will do, as long as we know how to use it. Skip this step for those who already have any wallet. For those who don’t have one yet, I recommend using the one from StakeCube.net.
From this, we can have a wallet for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, DASH and Digibyte in a single platform. Another reason why I recommend it is because StakeCube.net also offersย investment.
Only by keeping the coins there, we can earn daily interest, compounded to the balance. In theory, the money can grow by itself.
So far, they probably offer the highest fixed rate of 0.02% daily. Also, StakeCube.net has their own faucet just like Faucetio.com.

Wallets for other coins, we can use Binance.com, where they offer staking option, another investment program.
The next step will be to get the wallet address from StakeCube.net or any of the wallet we use.
STEP 2 – Get a Wallet Address
A wallet is just a platform while the address is the payment ID. We can tell any merchant or anybody to send the cryptocurrency to that ID or wallet address.
For those who are using the StakeCube.net wallet, after we sign in, we will immediately arrive on the WALLET page with a list of many different cryptocurrencies as shown by the next picture.
What we need to do is to find the row for either Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, DASH or Digibyte. At the right end of the row, we will see 2 or 3 icons. If we click on the first one, with the down arrow, it will open a window like the one shown by the second picture below.
As we can see, it says DEPOSIT ADDRESS. The address is a combinations of letters and numbers that is rather difficult to memorize. We need to copy that address and it is recommended to use the green copy button at the bottom.
Remember that each cryptocurrency will have different wallet or deposit address even though for the same account in the same platform or wallet. The second picture below shows the wallet address for Dogecoin.
The address for Bitcoin and Litecoin will be different. We have to make sure that we use them correctly.
If we use different wallet or platform, the process will be similar. It is just a matter where they will put the address.
Now that we already have the wallet address, the next step is to open a micro wallet.
STEP 3 – Open an ExpressCrypto.io Account
Sending any cryptocurrency payment directly to any wallet will require some minimum amount and a transaction fee to process. Since a cryptocurrency faucet can only offer relatively very small amount, we first need to collect them in an intermediate platform, a micro wallet.
For Faucetio.com, they only work with ExpressCrypto.io, a micro wallet platform. They will first send the coin to our ExpressCrypto.io account, and after reaching the minimum, we can ask ExpressCrypto.io to send the coin to our wallet.
In this case, our StakeCube.net account wallet. Any wallet will do.

STEP 4 – Get the Unique ID
Every member of ExpressCrypto.io will have their own unique ID that we can find from the member dashboard after we sign in to the micro wallet. The ID will be similar to this:

We will be using this ID to Faucetio.com or any of the supported faucet programs. This will tell the program to send the coins or money to our ExpressCrypto.io account.
We can use the copy button right next to it. Or we can just type in my ID above and replace the number at the end.
Once we have this unique ID, we can start earning from Faucetio.com.
STEP 5 – Earn from Faucetio.com
Faucetio.com has several faucets each offering different cryptocurrencies on its own page. We can use any of these links below to access any of them.

For my next example, I will be using the Digibyte Faucet. Regardless of the cryptocurrency, the process is the same and using the same unique ID.
The faucet page will be similar with the one shown by the next image. First, we might want to check what the BALANCE (in blue field) and the reward per claim (green field).
If the balance is lower than the reward, that means the faucet has no funds available. We cannot get paid unless the owner has filled their account with coins again. So, we should check their other faucets.
Once the fund is available, if we scroll down a bit on that page, we will find a field that says: YOUR ADDRESS. We can paste our unique ID into the field.
To claim the reward, we now need to solve the captcha system and the antibot. The captcha is either from reCaptcha or Solve Media.
I recommend using Solve Media. We can click that option and the page will reload again, which we have to paste the unique ID again.
Then, we have to solve the antibot by clicking the four words in the same order as the instruction. Each time we click the word, it will disappear.
Once all four words have been clicked, another one will appear that says GET REWARD.ย We can click that blue button to proceed.
As shown by the third picture below, the result page will say X number of satoshi was sent to you on ExpressCrypto.io.
That is it with the claiming process. If we try to claim again from the same faucet, the page will say that we have to wait for 5 minutes.
We can repeat the process for 20 times from each faucet, assuming the funds for each coin is available. The limit will reset again 24 hours since the claim, not since the last one. It doesn’t reset at the same server time either.
While waiting for 5 minutes on one faucet, we can try to earn from Faucetio.com 19 other faucets. We can go back to their homepage Faucetio.com or at the top of the page, between 2 horizontal banners, we can find link to all of their faucets.
STEP 6 – More Coins on ExpressCrypto.io
The only way to know whether we actually get paid or not is by checking our ExpressCrypto.io account. From the Dashboard, we can scroll down and find payment history to our account as shown by the next picture.
If we do get paid by Faucetio.com, the description will say faucetio followed by the coins. That is it with the claiming process.
We can keep doing it, claim from Faucetio.com until we have reached the minimum to withdraw before we can ask ExpressCrypto.io to send the coin to our wallet. In this example, that would be to send to StakeCube.net account or any wallet we use on STEP 1.
Alternatively, we can also try other programs supported by ExpressCrypto.io. We can check the Faucet list page or here are some that I have tried so far.

Remember that ExpressCrypto.io also has an exchanger feature. This will let us convert any coin to just a single cryptocurrency.
So, even though we don’t necessarily collect certain coins, we can earn them and trade them later to the coin that we do collect. By doing that also, we can reach the minimum to withdraw even faster.
STEP 7 – Withdrawing Coins
To withdraw the coins from ExpressCrypto.io, we first need to link the wallet address that we got during STEP 2 of this guide to our micro wallet account. Linking means just registering the payment ID.
We can click on the WALLET menu and from the drop down, click on WITHDRAW. As shown by the next picture, this is a page where we can link the address. Make sure we the address is for the right currency and click the LINK ADDRESS button.
Then, we can go back to the main dashboard of ExpressCrypto.io. We need to find the currency we want to get paid with and click on the BALANCE button.
There will be a progress bar on each currency box. If the bar is full with green color, that means, we have reached the minimum to withdraw for that coin. Otherwise, we might want to earn more of that coin or exchange other coins.
The withdraw page will be similar to the next picture. On that page, we can see when they will send the payment in regular time. There is also an express payment where they will process within 1 hour for higher fee.
We just need to enter the amount, pay the fee, and click on the SUBMIT WITHDRAWAL button. They will send a confirmation link via email which we need to click within 60 minutes or it will automatically cancel the request.
For regular payment, I think they usually process the payment within 12 hours or so. We also might have to wait before the network reach enough confirmations before we can see the money in our wallet balance.
Earning Rate and Comparisons
Here are the earning rate details at this moment. This is when 1 BTC is over $50k. From what I understand, the site uses dynamic price.
Which means, when the value of the coin goes up, usually the reward in that coin will be lowered and vice versa.
Bitcoin: 1 satoshi ($0.00055) per claim. Up to 20 satoshi per day or $0.011)
Cardano: 38,835 satoshi of ADA ($0.0004) per claim. Up to 0.007767 ADA or $0.008 per day.
Bitcoin Cash: 74 satoshi of BCH ($0.0004) per claim. Up to 0.0000148 BCH or $0.008 per day.
Bytecoin: 0.96571704 BCN ($0.0004) per claim. Up to 3.86287 BCN or $0.008 per day.
Dash: 184 satoshi of DASH ($0.0004) per claim. Up to 0.0000368 DASH or $0.008 per day.
Digibyte: 679,140 satoshi of DGB ($0.0004) per claim. Up to 0.13583 DGB or $0.008 per day.
Dogecoin: 0.007 DOGE ($0.0004) per claim. Up to 0.14 DOGE or $0.008 per day.

From these 20 faucets, the potential total earning rate is $0.15 per day. That is assuming every faucet has funds and we claim all 20 times each.
Since we can claim while waiting for one faucet, we just need like 20 x 5 minutes or 100 minutes. So, within 2 hours, we can get like $0.15 from Faucetio.com per day, in theory.
I admit that there are some rounding either up or down when the rates were converted to USD value. $0.0004 per claim would still be the average.
So, their Bitcoin faucet offers the highest rate. I think it is because 1 satoshi is already the lowest possible amount supported by the Faucetio.com and the micro wallet.
The rest offers the same rate except for EXS and EXG, two of the internal currencies of ExpressCrypto.io. For these 2 coins, the reward will remain the same unless ExpressCrypto.io has decided to decrease the value per coin as they did before.
The question is now, is that a good earning rate? One way to find out is by making simple comparisons between Faucetio.com earning rate with other similar programs. In this case, other cryptocurrency faucet.
Here are some that I have tried so far.
Comparisons to Other Programs
Freebitco.in, usually as my standard for good earning faucet, can give us like less than 5 satoshi at this time per claim every hour as the base reward which is what we will get most of the time. There is a chance to get higher rewards per claim from this. For an hour, we can get higher with Faucetio.com than this but not for the entire day.
Cointiply.com, now the faucet can only give us 2 claims per day. For me right now about 20 coins a day and with 100 coins equals to $0.01 means $0.002 per day, or about 6 satoshi. With just one faucet claim from Faucetio.com, we already get higher than this for a day.
ClaimFreeCoins.io, a 5 minute faucet can offer like 1 satoshi per claim. That is the same rate as Faucetio.com but this one doesn’t have any daily limit.
Free-Litecoin.com and their group, each as hourly faucet can give altcoins about 372 litoshi at this time as the base prize. With 2 claims from Faucetio.com in an hour, we already get higher than this.
DailyFreeBits.com, also can give constant amount but only 1 satoshi every hour at this moment. That is the same as one claim from Bitcoin faucet of Faucetio.com.
BestChange.com, has a faucet feature, give at least 1 satoshi in per hour. The average rate should be higher but that minimum is the same as one claim from Bitcoin faucet of Faucetio.com.
3BTC.org can give like 15 satoshi of ETH as the base reward per claim per hour as the base reward. That one claim is even lower than one claim from ETH faucet of Faucetio.com.
DigiTask.ru, a 1 minute faucet and no limit can give random amount per claim, currently about 0.0007 DOGE at least. We can get 10 times higher with Faucetio.com per claim than this.
FireFaucet.win, an auto faucet, at this time, with maximum bonus, can give like 1 satoshi per hour. That is just the same amount as one claim from Bitcoin faucet ofย Faucetio.com.
QweroFaucet.com, an hour faucet, offers like just 1 Bitcoin satoshi per hour. We can get higher but it is almost impossible to achieve. Faucetio.com and most of other faucet programs can offer higher than this.
FreeDGB.com, an hour faucet, can give us like 0.00336 DGB or about $0.0002 per claim. That one claim is just half of what we can get per claim from Faucetio.com.
ES Faucet, another lump sum claim faucet, which we can earn from 30 minutes, offering 13 different coins, can give like 0.27 satoshi after waiting for 30 minutes per faucet as the base prize only.
The daily rate is about $0.096 by claiming all 13 coins every 30 minutes. That is more than half as much as the daily rate of Faucetio.com.
TopTap.website, an auto faucet, could offer like 0.1 DOGE per day. If we do all 20 claims from one faucet from Faucetio.com, we can get higher than this.
FreeBitcoin.io, an hourly faucet, can offer like 1 satoshi per hour or up to 24 per day. The reward per claim is the same as Bitcoin faucet from Faucetio.com but the daily rate is still higher.
DogExpress.xyz and their group offers like 0.01 DOGE per claim per 10 minutes or about 0.06 DOGE per hour. In 10 minutes, Dogecoin faucet of Faucetio.com can give higher than this.
Fautsy.com, a 6 minute faucet can offer like 1 satoshi per claim or 10 satoshi per hour. That one claim is the same reward as Faucetio.com but with longer interval time.
Yannik.biz, another lump sum faucet, offers like 2 satoshi after 10 minutes waiting, without the bonus. That is about the same reward as the Bitcoin faucet of Faucetio.com.
AltHub.club, a 30 minute faucet, can give us like 5 ALTH per claim or about 0.0047 DOGE per claim. That is just slightly higher than half the reward per claim from Faucetio.com.
GetZEN.cash, a 20 hour faucet can give like less than $0.0004 per claim as the base reward. That is the same reward per faucet claim from Faucetio.com.
FaucetCrypto.com, a 40 minute faucet, offers like 17.5 coin per claim or about 1.25 satoshi at this time ($0.0007). We just need 2 claims from Faucetio.com in the same time, to get higher rewards than this.
DogeMate.com, an hour faucet and we can claim like 20 coins (about $0.0002) per claim as the minimum. One faucet claim from Faucetio.com is already twice as much as this one.
CoinMoster.pw, a 15 minute faucet can offer like $0.000036 per hour or $0.000864 per day. With 2 or 3 claims from Faucetio.com and we already get higher than this one for a day.
CoinBid.ro, and their group can offer like 0.0026 DOGE ($0.00015) per claim and we can claim once per 5 minutes per faucet. We can get at least 3 times higher per claim with Faucetio.com than this.
StakeCube.net, a 24 hour faucet offers multiple coins. If we claim all of them, we can get about $0.0018 or currently about 3 satoshi. With just 5 claims from Faucetio.com and we can already get higher than this for a day.
PipeFlare.io, a daily faucet, where we can earn about 0.0008 DOGE and 0.00000047 ZEC per day or about $0.000064. One claim from Faucetio.com is already 6 times higher than this.
FreeFaucet.io a once a day faucet can give us like 18 satoshi or about $0.01 currently per day. We need 25 claims from Faucetio.com to get the same reward per day.
TimeForBitco.in, a 5 minute lump sum faucet can give us like 0.89 satoshi ($0.0005) per claim. That is slightly higher than one faucet claim from Faucetio.com.
CRINF.net, as a 5 minute faucet can give us 150 litoshi ($0.0003) per claim. That is just slightly lower than one claim from Faucetio.com, and there is no daily limit.
SimpleBits.io, a 30 minute faucet can give us like at least 5 tokens per claim ($0.0005). With just 2 claims within 30 minutes from Faucetio.com and we already get higher than this.
LitecoinAds.com, a PTC with 60 minute faucet, can offer like $0.0025 per hour as the minimum. We just need 1 claim from Faucetio.com and we already get higher than this for an hour.
ClaimClicks.com, a 5 minute faucet, can give us like $0.00025 per claim. We can get almost twice as much as this from Faucetio.com per claim.
This is just comparing strictly between the faucet earning rate. There are more things to consider like the claiming process or how easy to withdraw.
Some programs can offer other earning feature or bonus that could make them a better choice. On the other hand, some users might not be able to use those other earning feature and can only rely on faucet.
Comment and Suggestion
From the 20 faucets, the ones with available funds currently are BTC, ETH, EXG, EXS and NEO. Maybe there are a couple more which the owner will occasionally replenish the balance and there are those that the owner may just ignore them.
This is understandable. It is really hard to maintain their financial through multiple different currencies. Even some coins may not be available in the market or maybe the network has some problem like Cardano which currently is have a hard fork.
Back then, I don’t really care much about the coin since we can always trade them easily on the micro wallet platform. As long as the owner can keep the supply for one faucet, I will gladly earn that coin.
From the numbers above, we can see that regardless of the coin, they are offering relatively the same value in USD, except for Bitcoin, EXG and EXS. They will have no choice with the Bitcoin.
Almost all of the faucets will face this problem, especially any simple instant faucet like Faucetio.com. I suspect they will eventually stop offering it if the price keeps getting higher.
The solution would be for the micro wallet and the faucet to change how they handle the amount of Bitcoin. If they can consider a single satoshi as not the lowest possible amount, a lot of faucet can keep offering the coins then.
EXG and EXS are 2 of the internal currencies that work just in ExpressCrypto.io. I don’t know why they have to offer lower reward for these two faucets.
With EXS, we can use it to pay the withdraw fee from ExpressCrypto.io to our wallet. I don’t know much about other use for EXG though.
As for the faucet of Faucetio.com itself, I think this is still relatively very new faucet, launched like several months ago at this point. The claiming process is still relatively easier than others.
However, the earning rate is a bit higher than the average. It is typical for faucet with short interval time can offer higher reward than those with longer timer.
Even among similar programs, this offers like $0.0004 per claim while the other can only offer $0.0003. I suspect they will eventually reduce that amount.
The claiming process is easy, just solve a captcha and an antibot. It is nice that they have 2 captcha systems as alternatives.
I thought that we can just use Solve Media because reCaptcha will be more difficult to solve the more we use it. The system will detect our IP and how often we try to access the captcha. We will be considered as a bot if we solve it too many times in a short period.
It turns out, Solve Media also has the same problem. Using all of the faucets from Faucetio.com definitely can make it more difficult in a single day. We probably have to use both of them alternately.
That means, even if we can claim one faucet and while waiting for the timer, claim the other, it is not recommended trying to claim them all. If we use other faucets that use these 2 captchas, we will have a problem later.
I don’t know if we can expect them to add a third captcha, hCaptcha, for example. Usually these instant simple faucets are template and the owners are not capable to modify them.
If they can, that will be great. Otherwise, just keep in mind the problem before trying to claim all 20 faucets 20 times.
It is nice that the owner put the link to their other faucets at the top so we can easily navigate from one to another. I wish we can see them more clearly like in bigger menu or button. I guess that is irrelevant for now.
There are some pop up ads that we have to deal with. However, the amount of those ads are still very minimum. After like several times a day, maybe 12 or so, the ads will eventually stop.
I suspect the owner will have to add more ads for their revenue in the future. Those ads from A-ads.com will not generate a lot of revenue from the same users.
Even then, there is no guarantee that they can survive in the business. Especially when the price of the coin can go up drastically like in the past couple of months.
I guess time will tell if they can keep up in the industry. In the mean time, this is not a bad faucet to earn from.
Referral / Affiliate Program
As mentioned before, the amount of money we can get from Faucetio.com or any faucet program is not that much. They are just pennies and some people think it is not worth the time.
However, by offering a referral or affiliate commission, any program can become a source of passive income. What we need to do is to invite other people to join the program and let them use the service.
In this case, the program is Faucetio.com and the service is to earn money by claiming the reward from the faucets. As the referrer, we will earn commission. The amount is based on some percentage of the referral’s earning.
It is true that is even lower than what we can get by ourselves. However, that is just from one claim of one referral.
The more referrals we have and the more active they use the platform will increase the commission we can get. Moreover, we will earn those commission passively, 24/7 even while we are asleep.
That is the basic idea of any referral or affiliate feature. The question is, can this one from Faucetio.com be as good as it sounds?
How does it work?
Like on any online program offering a referral or affiliate commission, each member will get a unique link with their ID attached to it. It is called referral link or reflink and these next one is mine for Faucetio.com, specifically for the Bitcoin faucet.

If anybody click any of those links and use those programs, earn some coins, they will become my referral. As the referrer I will get commission, 10% based on the referral’s earning, not taking it from their hard work though.
What we need to do is to share the link to anybody online on any platform that we regularly use. The platform can be our social media accounts, forum, group messenger for family and/or friends, email or even website or blog that we own.
Anywhere we can post the link and the public can access it will do. Even Google Docs can work, if we let the file visible.
The links can be found at the bottom of each faucet page. It will say REFLINK followed by a URL with red font color as shown by the previous picture.
Unfortunately Faucetio.com doesn’t provide us with tools to help us promote their program. However, the link is the essential one.
How to get (more) referrals?
Well, sharing the link is a must but how exactly? Sharing to the wrong people is like a salesman approaching stranger. People hate that.
If we try to share on our social media, people might get annoyed if they are not interested. Especially if we are spamming, sharing over and over again like multiple times within a day.
We could lose our followers, risking any network we have built. Maybe it’s better to have alternate account specifically just to share this kind of program.
We look for community or other users that we know are interested. Or only when they ask, then we can share with them the link.
A better way might be to share on forums. Not just any forum of course, but related to online money making program, bitcoin, or other cryptocurrencies.
The problem with using any free platform like this is that we are probably not the only one who promote the same program. We have to offer something more than just the referral link like anybody else.
Another thing is that these free platforms have rules that they can suddenly change about promotion and not to mention, shutting down their service entirely. We have to start over our campaign if they delete them.
A better way would be to have our own website. We can share anything not just one program but others with the same, similar or related topics.
Having a website is like having a shop in real life. People can always come back to and find out more programs to use.
Then we can use those free platforms, forum or social media accountsย just for promotion. A good way to get backlink or generate traffic.
Since it’s an online shop, it will stay open 24/7, no need to wait for us to wake up and can be accessed from everywhere around the world. The best part of having our own place or website is that any search engine like Google will do the promotion work non stop.
And they will show the website as a result to exactly people who are interested in it. They use the search engine to look for it and get the website we build as the result. No need to worry about being annoying salesman.
Those people will access the website, see what we have to offer. Maybe a review like this, other or similar program we use, sharing experience, opinion, views to let people know that we understand this kind of program.
If they are interested, they will become our referrals for any program we promote. Once we have enough referrals for Faucetio.com or every programs we promote, we can have passive income even full time income.
That is exactly how people can build their business online. They own a website, fill the website with contents that can help promote a program, and let it work automatically.

Comment and Suggestion
At this point, I don’t have any referral yet. So, I don’t know exactly how the referral feature works. I cannot even tell if they actually work. So, keep that in mind.
First, the commission rate, which is 10% for any coins is not that high. The highest one I know is 50% and of course, there are others that offer even lower than this or nothing at all.
For me any commission is great. However with 10% that means the reward should be at least 10 satoshi of the coin for the referrer to get just 1 satoshi of the coin.
That means, for Bitcoin faucet, we will not get anything at all. They don’t count the total earnings like if the referral claims all 20 times. We will not get 2 satoshi from that.
Maybe that is the reason why they can offer higher reward with Bitcoin faucet than other coins. For the other coins, the owner must pay the referrer as well.
For this reason, I usually prefer promoting coins with lower value faucet. Because even though we get the same value per claim, we get higher number of that coins. This smaller amounts can eventually accumulate into something big.
While from faucet with higher value coins, we will lose some amounts from rounding. Of course, another consideration that we should take is how likely the value of the coins will go up. But it doesn’t matter if we just trade them immediately for other coins.
So, if we do want to promote Faucetio.com and get more reward, we should try promoting their faucets separately. Like we can create a list of Litecoin faucets, or Cardano faucets, etc instead of Faucetio.com as a whole.
People will just try to earn Bitcoin, the most popular one. Another problem is that we also need to educate why other people should choose the altcoins and which altcoins.
ETH is a good one but then, it’s just a matter of time before the coin suffers the same problem as Bitcoin. We will earn just 1 satoshi and as referrer we will get nothing.
Well, it is not that we can promote all of the coins that Faucetio.com is offering. There is no point on getting a lot of referrals if they cannot earn anything because of empty or insufficient balance.
Usually the idea for passive income from referral or affiliate feature is to have a lot of referrals. Hopefully some will be active enough to generate decent amount of commission. However, with how things work on Faucetio.com, this is not going to happen.
For example, there is no registration process. If we do register with an email or such, usually the referrals will be tied with the referrer, forever. As long as the referral keeps coming back using the same ID, they can return and generate more commission.
Thanks to the use of ExpressCrypto.io, each member will only use their unique ID. Other micro wallet will require their users to use linked wallet address which anybody can change anytime.
Here, as long as the referral can keep coming back to their ExpressCrypto.io account, they can still generate commission for us.
Then again, without the proper registration process, here we just like enter the ID and the program will just send the money to that ID. The referrals are not really tied to the referrer.
They will only generate commission if they use the link to that faucet using our referral link. If they access the website directly, we may not get anything. They are not even our referrals anymore.
That also means, once they know Faucetio.com from us via one link, it is very unlikely for them to use our link for the different coins as the referrals can explore the site by themselves.
Another problem is that these faucets rely heavily on the micro wallet. If they have to change the micro wallet, that use different system, we also need to change the URL, and probably lose all of the hard work promoting the program.
This is the reason why these instant simple faucet program is not a good idea for long term passive income. It is not that they are not going to work but it is very easy to lose the referrals.
We have to keep promoting the programs in the hopes for getting new and active referrals. If that is the case, maybe with the same amount of effort and time, we should just claim the faucets ourselves.
It is also not a guarantee that this faucet will still be around when we already have a lot of referrals. This is true for any programs but considering how easy the owner to just buy a template script for this faucets, this kind of programs is more likely to be abandoned by the owner.
So, I think Faucetio.com is not really for long term passive income source. It is just a faucet we can claim and earn from ourselves while we still can.
Conclusion
Faucetio.com is one of what I consider as a simple instant cryptocurrency faucet program supported by a micro wallet service. This faucet will not have more features or pages that we can access other than the page to claim the faucet itself.
Since they use ExpressCrypto.io micro wallet, we just need to enter the unique ID, and claim the reward. The claiming process is rather easy at this point.
We just need to solve a captcha and antibot, and we already get the reward instantly. There are 2 captchas that we can choose from, the regular reCaptcha and Solve Media.
We can claim each of them once every 5 minutes up to 20 times per day separately. That means, while waiting for the timer of one faucet, we can try claim the others.
It is not recommended though to claim everything in a short period of time. Both captcha systems will consider our activity as a bot.
Faucetio.com is currently offering 20 different coins in 20 separate faucets.
All of the coins are supported by the micro wallet, including the 2 internal currencies just for ExpressCrypto.io. However, not all of them have sufficient balance to earn from.
The average reward per claim is $0.0004 with dynamic price of the coin. That is even slightly higher than similar programs with the same interval time.
The exception would be Bitcoin faucet, because they cannot go lower and the 2 internal currencies.
The reset time for daily claim is not based on one server time but each claim is replenished 24 hours since that very claim. Currently, since they are still relatively new, at most, we have to deal with a couple of pop up ads.
Faucetio.com also offers some referral commission. The rate is 10% for all coins, which is not the lowest but lower than the usual among similar programs.
We definitely will earn something if the referral earn any coin except for Bitcoin. It will be too generous for them if they still give 1 satoshi to the referrer as commission.
That means for passive income, we should promote their other faucets. The problem is, there is no guarantee that the owner can even provide the funds in their balance.
With no registration process and the use of wallet address to sign in or rather earn instantly, there will be too many ways to lose the referrals. Even if the referrals stick around, it is very unlikely to earn some commission forever.
This is a typical issue for instant simple faucet program. They are more for actively use where we can earn higher rate instead of promoting them for passive income.
