In general, displaying ads is how any online program, not just faucet program can make some profit. Sometimes, the ads can be everywhere, like every single space from the entire webpage.

I think it is very easy to use and to look at. Not very annoying compared to other similar program that It can even offer higher rewards.
So, who is PurseFaucets.com? Is PurseFaucets.com legit or scam? How much can we earn from them?
Those are probably just a few questions that came to mind after hearing about PurseFaucets.com. Well, in this article, I’m going to share with you my review about PurseFaucets.com based on my experience with them and what we can find on the internet.

I guess that is it for PurseFaucets.com. They started great but then go down slowly and not coming back.
Let’s see if we can find a better one than this.
December 2019. We can no longer use FaucetHub.io as the payment method from PurseFaucets.com. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any news or announcement about any payment method replacement from the owner of PurseFaucets.com.
I don’t see them registered with any micro wallet alternative like ExpressCrypto.io, KSWallet.net or FaucetPay.io, maybe yet.
For now, I will set my status for this program into NOT AVAILABLE. If they come back, with the new payment method, I will change it back as soon as I get paid.
November 2019, FaucetHub.io has announced that they are going to shut down their service as micro wallet. Read more from my FaucetHub.io Review.
Starting August 2019, FaucetHub made some changes to their policy about making withdraw from any faucet program into FaucetHub. Some owners might have to change how their faucets work.
There are some that chose to lower the earning per claim while other faucets chose to increase the minimum to withdraw. Different programs would have different solution the owner might take.
FaucetHub stated that there were owners who abused the previous system. So, it is possible that one of the program we used might even decide to shut down their business, or at least need more time to make some adjustment.
Payment delay could be one of the possible action. We just need to give them more time.
In the case of PurseFaucets.com, I thought they didn’t change anything at first until about one week after. The earning rate has been lowered so we can only get between 1 to 4 satoshi per claim from their previous 3 to 6 satoshi.
This article was written before the change but the rest of this review may still relevant.
There might be other things that I haven’t noticed yet or even later. Please let me know if any of you find something and leave it using the comment section below and I will update this page.
In October 2019, PurseFaucets.com lowered the reward again. The rewards are 2 satoshi then 1 satoshi 3 times before getting 2 again.
About PurseFaucets.com
Purse Faucet (PurseFaucets.com), as the name suggests is a faucet program. Usually, a faucet program is where people can earn some money for almost free or with little effort. Of course, the amount of money is not that much.
User can claim the money with just clicking on a button or solve a captcha system. It’s like opening a faucet but instead of getting water, we get money.
Then we need to wait for a duration of time, like 5 minutes before we can open that faucet to claim money again. The idea is to collect cryptocurrencies even with a small amount but in the hopes that their price could go higher in the future.
In the case of PurseFaucets.com, we can get some satoshi, the smallest currency unit of a Bitcoin. We can claim from them once every 10 minutes right now.
Like other similar program online, there is actually no company profile about the owner of the website. This is very typical, but for some this might be a deal breaker.
The domain name was registered since the end of 2016 so they launched the program in 2017. No other important info from using WhoIs tool.
What we can find from another website is just the owner’s profile on FaucetHub, goes by username dvoll. What we can see from the next picture is the FaucetHub page, and it seems we can still contact the owner there.
The owner didn’t officially open a thread on FaucetHub forum. There are unofficial thread on other forums. No social media accounts as well.
Another way to contact them is by email. The main page of PurseFaucets.com says that we can send email to pursefaucets@gmail.com. But, if we look at their FAQ page the support has different email, support@pursefaucets.com.
Try to contact both. There is nothing essential from the FAQ page itself.
Just some terms that we can find from the main page as well is that we are not allowed to use TOR, VPN or proxies, risking to get banned. This is very typical for similar program.
With so limited info we can get, the website is very simple that anybody can use it without problem. But, since to earn with PurseFaucets.com requires to use FaucetHub, a third party program, this could lead to some confusion.

Faucet – How to Earn
Bitcoin faucet is the main and only feature from PurseFaucets.com. With a faucet, any user can get free amount of Bitcoin after solving a captcha system.
The amount is actually very low considering how little the effort is. Then, we can wait for a duration of time before we can repeat the process to claim and earn again.
The website is actually very simple but for those who are not familiar with Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies or even FaucetHub, this can be confusing. Here is a step by step guide to help people earn from PurseFaucets.com.
Step 1 – Open a Bitcoin Wallet
There is no registration process but we still need a Bitcoin wallet address to sign in with PurseFaucets.com. If you already have one, you can skip this part and move to the next step.
For those who don’t have any Bitcoin wallet, I suggest opening one with Freebitco.in. This is actually another Bitcoin faucet but with the deposit feature, we can use it as a wallet.
Another reason is because Freebitco.in also offers to pay compounded daily interest like a bank. In theory, we can grow our money just by keeping our coins with them.

Use this link to create account with Freebitco.in. After the sign up process, and maybe claim the faucet, click on the green DEPOSIT button at the top.
We can use this deposit address as withdrawal address from other programs. Every payment from those programs will be sent directly to Freebitco.in account as a deposit.
Make sure to double check the address again while copying. Missing just one character means losing an income source and the transaction process can’t be undone.
Now, since PurseFaucets.com is using FaucetHub service as payment method, we need to link this Bitcoin deposit address from Freebitco.in to FaucetHub.
Step 2 – Open FaucetHub Account
You can skip this part if the Bitcoin address has been linked with FaucetHub. Move to the next step.
Use this link to create account with FaucetHub for free. Click on SIGN UP to register an account.
Enter our username, email address, and the Bitcoin deposit address from Freebitco.in (step 1), and the password. Click on two boxes to agree with terms and how they handle personal data, then solve the captcha.
After we finish the sign up process, we can login, but FaucetHub is probably going to ask another one time authentication process and activation via email. The Bitcoin address we use to register with FaucetHub will be automatically linked.
We can now use it for other programs like PurseFaucets.com to accept payment to FaucetHub. If we want to use other address we can add it on FaucetHub user dashboard.
After we sign in to FaucetHub account, click on USER+, then click on USER DASHBOARD. Then, from the second row of menus, click on WALLET ADDRESSES.
Paste the address on the box below LINK A NEW ADDRESS and choose Bitcoin as the currency. Then click on the green LINK THIS ADDRESS+ button.
Scroll down on that WALLET ADDRESS page to make sure that the address has been linked. Only after that we can use the wallet address to accept payment.
Step 3 – Open PurseFaucets.com Account
Use this link to start earning with PurseFaucets.com. Paste the Bitcoin wallet address that has been linked to FaucetHub on the login box at the bottom right and click on ENTER.
We can actually use any Bitcoin address to sign in without linking to FaucetHub first. Linking is for when we want to make the withdraw our earnings.
The withdraw will not be processed automatically per claim to FaucetHub like other programs. Our earnings will be stored here first on PurseFaucets.com and after we submit a withdrawal request, the funds will be sent instantly.
So, step 2 can be done before we withdraw (Step 6).
Step 4 – Claim the Faucet
After we sign in, we will immediately see the main page, the faucet. It will look like the picture below.
Click on the blue CLAIM REWARD button and the button will be replaced by a captcha system as shown from the second picture above. Sometimes there is cloaked pop up ad before we can click the button. This is a unique captcha from PurseFaucets.com
What we need to do is just click on those 5 BITCOIN logos following the color order from the instructions. It’s not that hard to read it but sometimes it can be confusing. From the picture, the instructions is like this one below.

From that instruction, the order is GREEN, RED, BLACK, BLUE, ORANGE. Just ignore every symbols and we get the right word. We can click on each logo and once every logos has disappeared, another blue GET SATOSHI will appear.
Don’t worry about doing it wrong. It will just reset the captcha and we need to start over.
Click on it to earn. Sometimes, there is another captcha from Google that we need to solve before we get the result.
Step 5 – Result and Repeat
After we click on the GET SATOSHI button, and probably solve the other captcha, the page will be reloaded. Now we can see the same page but with the announcement of the result like this one below.

If we scroll down, the CLAIM THE REWARD button will be replaced by a timer countdown. We have to wait until the timer is up before we can repeat the process (step 4).
At this time, to withdraw, the minimum is 10 satoshi. Which means we are going to need at least two claims before we can withdraw.
Next step is to withdraw.
Step 6 – Withdraw Coins to FaucetHub
To withdraw, from the faucet page, click on CHECK YOUR WALLET. We can also click on both WALLET menu at the top or the bottom but the one in the middle is a shortcut.
Remember that we can only withdraw the funds to the Bitcoin address linked to FaucetHub. The coins will be sent to FaucetHub first.
Follow STEP 2 from the section above. Make sure we link the same address as the one we use to sign in with PurseFaucets.com.
The picture above is the wallet or withdraw page. We can see our balance and a WITHDRAW TO FAUCETHUB.IO button.
Remember that we have to link the wallet address to FaucetHub first.
If we already have enough balance, we just need to click that blue button and the payment will be sent to user FaucetHub account instantly. Click on FAUCET from the top menu to repeat Step 4 to add more coins to reach the minimum threshold.
We can only cash out the whole balance no way to do it partially. There is no additional fee from every withdraw, so it doesn’t matter if we want to withdraw more often.
The FAQ page stated that there is a chance the FaucetHub might have a problem or maintenance so user can’t withdraw. When that happens, there is nothing that PurseFaucets.com can do about it. Just wait and give it some time and try again later.
Step 7 – More Bitcoins from FaucetHub
The only way to check if they payment has been sent or not is by checking the FaucetHub account. From the user dashboard on FaucetHub click on STATS or OVERVIEW. We can see something like the picture below.
If we want to cash out the Bitcoin from FaucetHub to the bitcoin wallet, we need to reach the minimum threshold first. At this time we need 20,000 satoshi.
We can keep earning from PurseFaucets.com or we can use a lot of other programs to earn Bitcoins. Here is a list of some programs that I have tried.

These are just for earning Bitcoins. With FaucetHub we can collect other cryptocurrencies which we can trade or exchange to Bitcoin within the FaucetHub.

The payment from FaucetHub will be processed only once a week on weekend. Submit the withdraw request at least the day before.
If you follow my guide from step 1, check your Freebitco.in wallet to see if you get the payment. Once we reach 30,000 satoshi on Freebitco.in, we will get the daily interest, compounded.
Keep earning and sending the Bitcoins we earn to Freebitco.in and get higher interest. Don’t forget to claim for the faucet as well. Just don’t gamble the money on MULTIPLYING or BETTING feature.
How much can we earn?
If we look at the faucet page from PurseFaucets.com, the website says that we can earn 6-3 satoshi. It means that we are going to get 6 satoshi for the first claim, 5 for the second, 4 for the third and 3 satoshi for the fourth times.
After that, we will circle back to get another 6 satoshi down to 3 again. So we will get 4 constant amounts to earn in the same order. This is not a lucky number roll so there is no jackpot or higher possible reward from the faucet.
Usually these numbers could change following the fluctuation of Bitcoin price in USD. The higher the Bitcoin value, the lower the reward we will get and vice versa.
I don’t know if PurseFaucets.com had changed these numbers in the past but it’s better to expect that to happen.
Based on the outdated info from their promotional banners, they did change the timer or interval between each claim. Initially we can claim every 5 minutes.
I have to say that this is a good thing since that means they are ready to make some adjustment instead of forcing the same number and eventually going bankrupt. This is actually important for any programs offering any cryptocurrencies.
The price could suddenly raise up or fall down drastically which could affect the programs finance. I would expect PurseFaucets.com to change again into a 30 minutes or even hourly faucet if the situation requires them to.
The question is now, is it a good earning amount?
Comparison to other programs
To find out, we can make some comparison to other faucets or similar programs. Based on the number above I can get about 18 satoshi per 4 claims or about 4.5 satoshi per claim. With 10 minutes interval between each claim, I can get 6 claims per hour and get 27 satoshi.
Of course there is no way I can claim 6 times and do it every hour. This is just to make it easier to compare.
All of these numbers are based on the price of Bitcoin in USD at this time. Right now 1 BTC is almost 10,000 USD or 1 USD is almost 10,000 satoshi.
Freebitco.in, usually as my standard for good earning faucet, can give us like 20 satoshi at this time per claim every hour. So in theory, PurseFaucets.com can give us way higher. But Freebitco.in offers a possibility to earn higher rewards per claim, assuming we are lucky enough to get.
Freedoge.co.in, their sister site, only offers like 0.18 DOGE per hour per claim. At this time, 1 DOGE is almost 30 BTC satoshi. So it’s about 5 satoshi compared to 27 satoshi from PurseFaucets.com
Cointiply.com, now can only give us 2 claims per day. For me right now about 20 coins a day and with 100 coins equals to $0.01 means $0.002 per day. That is like 6 claims or one hour claim from PurseFaucets.com and get $0.0027.
Ethereum-faucet.org and their group, can give members like 4 or 5 satoshi per claim every 240 minutes or 4 hours. Only up to 24 or 30 satoshi per day so it’s like PurseFaucets.com earning for 1 hour.
ClaimFreeCoins.io, used to be a 5 minute faucet which is now no timer, can give us at least 5 satoshi per claim and no claim limit per day. So, PurseFaucets.com is obviously lower than this but considering how annoying to claim from ClaimFreeCoins.io, I say PurseFaucets.com wins on this.
Bitnyx.com, 60 minutes faucet as well, can give about 10 satoshi as the average amount. PurseFaucets.com can give this in 2 or 3 claims or 20-30 minutes.
Free-Litecoin.com and their group, each as hourly faucet can give altcoins which if converted to bitcoin is about 10 satoshi. PurseFaucets.com can give this in 2 or 3 claims or 20-30 minutes.
TrustBTCFaucet.com, not longer available at the moment, a 5 minutes faucet with 30 claim limit, used to give like 8 satoshi per claim as the average amount. We can get more, and after the claim limit, we can still claim but longer timer or interval.
AllCoins.pw, also a 5 minutes faucet as well, with 50 claim limit, right now can give like 2 satoshi per claim. That is 100 satoshi per day in 4 hours claiming compared to 22 claims with almost the same time from PurseFaucets.com.
DailyFreeBits.com, also give fixed amount but only 3 satoshi every hour at this moment, which could go less thanks to dynamic price. Clearly PurseFaucets.com wins against this. Not to mention how annoying the ads on DailyFreeBits.com.
BestChange.com, has a faucet feature, give around 15 satoshi in average per hour. PurseFaucets.com can give this in 4 claims.
Bitcoinsfor.me, a 5 minutes faucet with 40 claims limit, at this moment is set to give a fixed 4 satoshi per claim. That is 160 satoshi per day for more than 3 hours claiming compared to 35 claims in 6 hours from PurseFaucets.com. I think Bitcoinsfor.me wins on this.
Dogeto.com offers like 0.18 DOGE as the base prize per hour. So it’s about 5 satoshi compared to 27 satoshi from PurseFaucets.com
3BTC.org can give like 3 satoshi per hour. PurseFaucets.com already give higher with just one claim.
DigiTask.ru, a no timer faucet offers like 0.09 DOGE per claim or about 2.5 satoshi per claim and the process for each claim is about 30 seconds to 1 minute. So we can get more with DigiTask.ru but more claims as well.
Based on the comparison above, we can say that PurseFaucets.com can give higher than the average similar programs. We don’t need to claim every 10 minutes, maybe every 15 or 30 minutes and we already get more than from the others.
The numbers from each program presented above could change but if it’s because of following the coin’s price, then the comparison still the same. Of course this comparison is limited about faucet earning only, no other features is considered which could be why we stick to those programs.
Too bad that there is no other way to earn directly from PurseFaucets.com.
Referral / Affiliate Program
What we can get from PurseFaucets.com or any similar program is actually very low. It’s just pennies. Some people would say it’s not worth the time.
But, by offering a referral or affiliate feature, PurseFaucets.com has the potential to become a passive income. What we do is we invite other people to join PurseFaucets.com, let them use the service and we get some commission.
In this case, the service is claiming the faucet and earn Bitcoin. So, we will get paid by helping other people to earn some money. It is not actually a bad idea.
Those people will become referrals. Every claims for each referrals we have will be counted and add more income to us.
In theory, with unlimited number of referrals, we can have unlimited income. It’s passive because the referrals will do the work.
How does it work?
Like any online program offering affiliate or referral feature, each member will get a unique link with their ID attached to it, which is called referral link or ref link. This one below is mine for PurseFaucets.com

What we need to do is to share our own link to anybody on any online platform we use. It could be a forum, our social media accounts, messengers for family or friends, or on blog or website that we own.

PurseFaucets.com also provides some banners as promotional tools with the same design but different sizes and shapes to help members promote. We can find those banners below the referral link but they are just images not a HTML code ready to be used.
I have to say that the info on those banners are outdated so I would not recommend anybody to use it.
How to get (more) referrals?
Well, sharing the link is a must but how exactly? Sharing to the wrong people is like a salesman approaching stranger. People hate that.
If we try to share on our social media, people might get annoyed if they are not interested. Especially if we are spamming, sharing over and over again like multiple times within a day.
We could lose our followers, risking any network we have built. Maybe it’s better to have alternate account specifically just to share this kind of program.
We look for community or other users that we know are interested. Then we can share with them the link.
A better way might be to share on forums. Not just any forum of course, but related to online money making program, bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
The problem with using any free platform like this is that we are probably not the only one who promote the same program. We have to offer something more than just the referral link like anybody else.
Another thing is that these free platforms have rules that they can suddenly change about promotion and not to mention, shutting down their service entirely. We have to start over our campaign if they delete them.
A better way would be to have our own website. We can share anything not just one program but others with the same, similar or related topics.

Since it’s an online shop, it will stay open 24/7, no need to wait for us to wake up and can be accessed from everywhere around the world. The best part of having our own place or website is that any search engine like Google will do the promotion work non stop.
And they will show the website as a result to exactly people who are interested in it. They use the search engine to look for it and get the website we build as the result. No need to worry about being annoying salesman.
Those people will access the website, see what we have to offer. Maybe a review like this, other or similar program we use, sharing experience, opinion, views to let people know that we understand this kind of program.
If they are interested, they will become our referrals for any program we promote. Once we have enough referrals for PurseFaucets.com or every programs we promote, we can have passive income even full time income.

Comment and Suggestion
This is a very simple program, just faucet. There are a lot of other programs like this that also use FaucetHub service.
There is no dedicated page for referral program. We can see our total commission from the referrals but no data or statistic about each referrals.
At least this is much better than the other programs where we have to check on our FaucetHub account to see if we do get some commission. That is still just the earning history.
Let’s just hope that they do keep some database which every referral will stay with the same referrer. I think there are other programs where we can get the commission only if the referral is using the exact link to access the website.
So, one day a user can become our referral and we get commission from their claim. But then, the next day, they access the website directly not using our referral link, and we will no longer get commission from that user.
Hopefully that is not how it works with PurseFaucets.com. I will update if I already have more info about this.
There is also no share button to social media account. We have to be careful while copying the referral link to share. Missing just one character means losing an income potential.
Since there is no registration form, like username or so on, the ID on referral link use the registered wallet address. Hopefully that could help user when doing a double check before copying and sharing the link.
As I mentioned earlier, I don’t recommend people to use the promotional banners image. Not only because the info is outdated, but some people might consider any banner they see through the browser window as another advertisement. Something that most people hate.
It is said that using the link within a sentence will have better conversion rate. If somehow we want to promote using a picture, maybe designing a new and unique one just for ourselves would be a better way instead of using the one they provide and other user can use.
The referral commission rate is just 25% which other similar programs can offer up to 50%. Of course there are those who only offer like 10%.
I would say that the affiliate or referral program from PurseFaucets.com might not be the best one but it is still better than from other programs. Something that we should consider to focus on promoting and build to become a passive income.
Conclusion
PurseFaucets.com is one of the faucet program that offers to pay with Bitcoin. The amount we can get is four constant numbers, 6 satoshi for the first claim, 5 for the second, 4 for the third and 3 for the fourth and back to 6 satoshi again.
The earning potential is relatively either similar or higher than other faucet program. Considering how easy the claiming process, the unique captcha and very small number of ads, this is probably something to focus on earning.
The program use FaucetHub service so we need to link our Bitcoin address first. Like a lot of faucet program on FaucetHub, there is no registration process, just enter the bitcoin address and we can immediately claim.
The difference is that our earning will still be stored within PurseFaucets.com first not automatically sent to FaucetHub. We need at least 10 satoshi before we can submit a withdraw request and it will be instantly transferred to FaucetHub.
Initially the interval between claim was 5 minutes which is now become 10 minutes. If the price of Bitcoin raises, we can expect them to change this interval time again.
Appearantly there is no other way to earn directly with PurseFaucets.com. Not even the potential for a jackpot or higher reward from claiming, no offerwalls or lottery.
At least, there is still an affiliate or referral program so PurseFaucets.com has the potential to become a passive income. Since they are still keeping some member’s data within the website, we can see still see the total commission we earn from our referrals but not each referrals data.
What I really like is the website design or presentation is very simple. Neat, not crowded with a lot of ads here and there. Hopefully they would not change this aspects later.

Final Word
As I mentioned before that what we can get from any faucet program like PurseFaucets.com is actually very low. The key is to use the referral program, get a lot of referrals and let them do the work and we get the commission.
In order to do that, it’s better to have our own website, promote the program until we can get enough referrals and they can generate income for us. This is not only limited to digital product but we can also promote physical product.
Share a link from a marketplace like Amazon, or directly from big brands like Apple, and if people buy something, we can earn some commission. It’s not limited to just tech product but any passion we have from food, travel, sports, movies.
That is how we can have an online business.
