Another article of me investing on a different HYIP. This next one, Rhythm-and-Profit.com is the 19th HYIP that I currently invest my money on. Because of the recent changed with the payment processor, I’m not sure that all of them are still paying.

I heard 1 or 2 on my list have become scam and no longer paying. But suddenly, the said HYIP got their status back from scam to WAITING on some monitors. So, either they are still working with the new system or they already run away with the investors money.

The problem with the new system is that the minimum is way higher than the previous processor. It will take more time before we can withdraw and we cannot withdraw as often as we used to.

I already got paid with this new one because the minimum deposit is quite high than other previous programs.

Back then, in tabletop games, they used dice for nothing but a randomizer. We roll them and the dice face will tell us which random event will affect the game.

For example, in Monopoly, the dice will tell us how far we can go from our current position. The problem with this idea is the randomness can determine the winner.

If one player is very lucky they get a good roll or keep getting a good roll and eventually win. The other player will then feel bad, not because they play poorly but only because they got bad roll.

Nowadays, designers have found more and better ways of how to use dice in their game. They can also add more ways that allow players to change the dice face in certain ways, mitigating these bad rolls.

In this next one, Tumble Town, the dice is not just a randomizer but also a component to build. It’s like playing a Lego but there is a challenge of how we can get the pieces and restriction for how to use the pieces to build.

Previously I discussed about The Castles of Burgundy: The Dice Game. It’s a roll and write version of a popular board game.

I noticed that the biggest advantage of this genre is how fast we can setup the game and ready to play. In any day where we want to play a game but we already get tired because of other activities, setting up a board game can be a huge barrier.

With games from this genre, we can simply just take a sheet, pencils or writing utensils and the dice and we are ready to play. Just roll the dice and start making decision for our action.

While roll and write games are mostly light to medium weight game, but they can still give a good experience. Some can be very addictive that we want to play the game right away.

Because of that, I started to look for more games from this genre. This next one, Kingdomino Duel is one of them. It is also based on a popular game called Kingdomino from the same designer.

Previously, I already mentioned that games are basically just rules. However, tabletop game publisher will try to give good production value to the component as the added value for the game.

Sometimes it can be just a gimmick like marbles in Gizmos or a beautiful art on the card or game boxes. It seems that this practice can also be applied to a micro game.

Usually a micro game already comes with small package and tiny, small amount components. But for this next one, Tiny Epic Defenders game, the designer can still add a toy factor for their game.

Tiny Epic Defenders, the 2nd Edition,  uses a meeple or a pawn shaped like a human figure called ITEMeeple. On this plastic figure, we can put on another plastic pieces as their weapon or equipment.

While I still think they are mostly gimmick, they do improve the table presence for the game. The game is also part of the Tiny Epic game series by the same publisher that a lot of people seem to like and collect them.

Unlike video games, analog tabletop games require at least one player to be the console to run the game. They need to learn the rule, setup the game and making sure that everybody follow the rules.

This is another HYIP that I recently tried. Since my last article related to HYIP, one program has become a scam even though I managed to reach BEP.
