In tabletop game industry, sometimes a game can go through multiple iterations of game design process. This usually leads to different edition, which should have improvement from the previous one.

Originally, the game could be designed for one thing and with some redesign process, the designers could find another way to play. Previously, I wrote about Adventure of D, which was originally designed to be for multiplayer but we can also play as solo game.

This next one, Micro City is actually the opposite. The first edition was only for single player and now with the second edition, we can play with 2. Not only that, we can also play the game both cooperatively or competitively with that other player.

So, what is this Micro City game? How do we play the game? Are the multiplayer variants as good or even better than the solo one?

2020 didn’t start off great, at least for me. Some programs that I thought can be around for awhile are shutting down one after another. From faucet programs, micro wallet, PTC programs and of course HYIP. Some tried to stick around but then decided otherwise.

To be honest, I’m not a fan to write review a scam program. There were some programs that turned into one sometimes after I published the article.

For this program, while in the middle of writing this review, their website suddenly became inaccessible at the start of 2020. Since this is one of the HYIP, and I know what I’m getting into, it is very likely to happen to me sooner or later. I probably have lost my investment here.

The amount is not that much and I have seen other member investing a lot more and I’m pretty sure they haven’t reached break even point yet at the time. There are several others of similar program that are still paying. But there is no guarantee, they could become like this one, who knows when.

I’m talking about Crypto7.com. This one actually has been around for about 4 years. Most of this type of programs,  if they are scam from the beginning, they wouldn’t be able to reach even the first year or first month.

Even what they are offering as interest rate is quite reasonable compared to other programs. However, the investment terms are way longer than others. I guess that is another bad sign I should consider while looking for another one.

People might say, they are just in the middle of holiday, and we should give them more time to come back like a couple of days. If they indeed come back, I will change the status for this.

Update: There was a downtime and I thought they have become scam but in fact we can now access their website again. Maybe they are just doing a maintenance and I should have just give them some time.

Previously, I already mentioned about a game that can be a relaxing experience in one of my reviews. Sometimes it can be a subjective thing because it depends on how the players take it.

Most of the time, it’s possible that the game is just too simple or easy. There is not much to think about when making a decision in the game. That still might be relaxing for players who are used to more complex ones but not really for non-gamers.

One of my favorite gameplay mechanisms in board game is tile laying. We lay a tile of a cardboard or card usually trying to connect things that are depicted on the tile.

For one, those games will have spatial aspect. The position where we place the tile usually matters. Other than that, it’s like playing jigsaw puzzle where we can see the result and how the tile grows. There is a sense of progression.

By laying the tile, it actually helps visualize the next result how to connect the next tile. In this next game called Miyabi, we can also build up by laying the tile on top of other tiles. That gives extra difficulty from the basic tile laying mechanism that usually just one layer.
